you haven't taken the act yet? ehhh i got a fucking 23, and i was supposed to retake it free with my school, but they're fucking idiots, so now i can't. stuck with a shitty score. i got a 16 on math, and it pulled it down from a potential 27.)':
There are some great medical type schools here in Chicago. So getting training in sonography here would not be a problem. If you want to go to community college we have several and you could work and go to school. Not to mention you could find a medical related job. There is a great hispanic community here and I am sure you could find a good place to live. However, I would live on the North side of Chicago. There are some nice places in that area that are not as expensive. Besides you can get a roomate. There are great services here for finding roomates.
Too bad her grades aren't up to Loyola's usual standards or I would recommend it immediately. Beautiful campus, nice neighborhood, and fucking awesome academics. Sadly their dental program closed in the early 90s or I would be there in a flash lol. I would definitely prefer to live on the North Side, I was just telling her that the South Side isn't as bad as most people make it out to be. I actually have enjoyed every minute I have ever spent in Chicago, regardless of what side I was on. Chicago is the fucking shit, I can't believe I was thinking about going out of state for school
Yessir, top 25 in the country for dental, and when planning on private practice prestige doesn't even matter that much. UIC has some sick dorms, as well as a great new recreation center, plus you can't beat it's location downtown, and of course the best part is how much it costs haha. Might still consider Loyola or Depaul for undergraduate studies, but UIC is my number 1 option atm. Chicago is easily where my heart lies. I wish I could go to school in Cali but unless I get an enormous scholarship it won't be worth it in transportation costs, and the fact I won't be able to go home any weekend I want to visit my family.
