We do that now, in P.E In recess, we used to make up so many stupid games, pretending to be loads of different characters, we used to play Polo - but the one without horses, hopscotch, stuck in the mud, it, bulldog i think its called, lobsies. and so on and so forth...
I was all into the various versions of tag, skipping and stuff like that when I was younger. When I was a bit older I used to play baseball or basketball in the summer and football or handball in the winter...as well as the various versions of tag and catch. Or when I was on the infamous 'fence', I'd read or write lines.
British bulldogs and chasey/tag/it. I always loved both of those games because I was the fastest kid in primary school, I rocked.
Tag.. house.. pretty cliche games, actually.. Oh I remember a marbles phase, I remember I had a huge collection.. one day I gave them all to this "friend" who was a year older than me.. well I wasn't really her friend, now I realize she was just using me cause I would always give her stuff. I remember Pogs, too..
Speaking of school, what stupid seating arrangements did people have in grade school? I had one teacher that arranged everyone in a checkerboard pattern such that each boy was surrounded by 4 girls and each girl surrounded by 4 boys. I think she thought that it would keep people out of trouble. I'm surprised they didn't arrange us at recess. Most teachers arrange you in alphabetical order, which means you sit behind the same person for about 8 years throughout grade school. .
i used to chill in the library some times enjoying the splendor of books i did alot of reading in high school and alot of drugs
i remember playing a lot of jump rope games, hopscotch, four square, simon says, and other games... we also played pretend a lot... we had a pretty bad ass playground, so there was always lots to do during recess...
Yea, we were seated in alphetical order in most schools I went to.. only in the beginning of the year, though.. later on, we could switch seats and sit next to whoever we wanted, but if we talked.. we got separated.. wow how many times have I gotten separated from my friends cause I wouldn't stop chatting.. up until 9th grade.. I constantly got punished :/ Yet I was a good student.. could have gotten straight A's all the way through even in math if I paid more attention..
