The parachute thing in the gym was popular a long time ago. Everyone would lift it up and form a big bubble then step inside and crouch down and hold the perimeter of the chute at the floor. Sounds like a remnant of the 50s 'duck and cover' thing. Leftover parachutes from the cold war too. .
Depends on the age I guess. At one point I used to like playing with the trees, literally. There were some interesting groupings of trees in my elementary school yard, and I used to pretend I was their minister, teacher, and doctor. Also, kids used to take twigs and stick them in the middle of where two trees began at a base, split into two. And Iw as part of the kids who would push the sticks out because 'trees had feelings too'. Rolls eyes, I know!!!!! That sticks out in my memory the most.
hell, by the time i was in gym class, we had no rope and the fat kid couldn't even do the required pushups...
no man i was only boozing no drugs in the 7th grade i still remember the first shot of vodka i took iu loved it
Wall ball was the big thing when we were in 5th grade. I don't even remember how you play, just a rubber raquetball chunked against a brick wall is all I can remember. Haha.
They have Hopscotch squares painted on the sidewalk at the elementary school out here. Sooo coool. But we'd bring our own chalk and extend them, because they were all the same, lol.
I played hopscotch too. We used to play this game called "ballon chasseur". They painted a rectangle on the asphalt for us to play this game during recess. I think it's called King's Court in English.
kick ball, tether ball, dodge ball. The best thing was getting to work in the ball room at lunch recess. Man that was fun. The parachute was always fun to do. I was an expert at ding dong ditching. lol.........my cousins would come stay and we would ding dong ditch for hours. Just did the ding dong ditch about a year ago with my cousins. was quite funny since we are all old now, but was fun.
