I'm afraid not. But they were Newman's Own Organic Champion Chocolate Chip Cookies.... so they were still delicious!

 

I relearned that coming to work with a massive cold and a sore throat sucks, especially when your job is to teach highschool literature!

 

This very well could be a turning point in my life. I've been looking for just that lately, so who knows.

 

i have just learned by watching divorce court who the most chauvanistic man on earth is.....

 

I've learned that Hipforums can actually prevent me from taking a much needed nap.

 

I haven't learned a thing, but I'll keep at it.

 

I learned to keep your eyes out when you drive as traffic cops can be on any road,


i can't f_cking believe it some trafic cop decided to set up his trap right on my street two homes down from my house.

It doesn't make any sense as barley any cars pass on my street.

its like that cop knew when i whould be driving and exactly were to nail me

Looks like its traffic court for me, again.

I got away in court the first time i don't know if all get away the second time.

but i did learn the last time that always,always do the court option because if you schedulle the court date 2 months after the offense the cop will probible forget and not show up.

If he doesn't show up you win.

 

i learned the answer to the old paradox "if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

but ill keep it to my self

 

I've learned that surfing on internet every day is actually really boring.

 

i learned that the real name of verge foray was not myers myers as i had been irroniously led to believe but actualy
howard l myers. also about the woman better known as james
tiptree jr, who had been an experimental psychologist for
the cia, (i knew about her being a her but not about that
part of it) in 1987 killed her husband who was dying of
alzhymer's and then herself (or at least that is what we
are told) this also i had not previously learned.

i did not however leave the comfort of my airconditioned
cave/womb to learn these things but stumbled accross them
in my usual shambling research right here (not RIGHT here
on hip forums but) on the internet.

i already KNOW the little trees in my garden are in serious need of being trimmed, and that the pavement outside is hot
enough to fry eggs and that i need to sleep in the daytime
so that i can continue my forrays about on the net in the
quiet hours when my thoughts are lest likely to be corrupted
by the coerciveness of human society

I learned that sleeping in can be fun (I'm an early rister, and I almost always wake up too early).

 

I learned that falling off of a mini-bike at 20-25 miles per hour will leave abrasions on my shoulder, arm, and knee.

Learnt more about 'Much Ado about Nothing' the play I am studying in my English lectures atm. In 10 minutes I am off to Classics to learn more about the ancient Romans. *yay*.
