What did you last do outside?

Went and got the mail..........

 

Yesterday I went to the hospital and got my knees injected, great fun I don't think the left one is rubbing/grinding bone.

O the joys of getting old but the good side I had sex this morning.

 

Went to the store for cat food,came back and chopped firewood.

 

Do what I did matey - get an 'arthroscopy' - they lay you on an operating table and place two probes in your knee (one is a camera so surgeon can actually see what he's doing). The other probe travels along the chipped and worn cartilege and trims up the rough edges. Because of other medical problems, I'm not able to have general anaesthetic, so was conscious and watching what he was doing on the television screen up in the corner of the theatre whilst he performed on my knees.

 

Had two arthroscopies so far on both knees as clean and tidy up jobs, I think from what I know its from taking a leap, a leap to far and I got the landing wrong there both done in, but the left come out worst, just having oil shoots at the moment, Kalamata hospital is under lock down its in case of a surge/ what surge as are free of CV, and not taking new patients at the moment unless its an emergency, and mine isn't, its just when I walk it grinds, so my dogs don't go far,. but with the temperature up above 40c who wants to.

 

Yeah, my arthroscopies didn't work either - I now have a full set of metal joints - both hips and both knees - my local airport (London Gatwick) doesn't like me, everytime I pass through security there I manage to trigger all the alarms

 

Is there no way round it if you tell them your coming through and why, as long as you can show why, but then I think you may enjoy the interruption of there mundane lives, all done with a big smile on your face.

That reminded me of the day that the operator at Heathrow could not work out what was in my box.
I will never forget the look on her face when she opened the box and found my 4,000 condoms.

 

Chopped firewood --- Heck with that. I put everything thru the log split-er . I have split logs up to 19 inches thick on it. I just keep putting them on till I get ii to the size that I want.

 

Used a chain saw to cut some wood and then mowed the lawn . That was enough for the day.

Played 18 holes of golf this morning. Courses are open, but everyone is in a separate cart, no touching flag sticks, no rakes, no water provided.

 

Absolutely love everything about the outdoors.

Yesterday, I went on a vigorous hike in Vermont and returned home to two hours in our backyard pool followed by hamburgers I cooked on the grill.

Woke up this morning and did two hours of yard maintenance ... mostly mowing but also tending to a new area of grass. Will finish the rest of the yard when I wake up tomorrow.

Talked on the phone with my sister on the back patio.

 

I was potting up some impatience after dinner tonight. I love their bright colors and how well they do throughout the season until frost.

 

Stood outside for five minutes applauding the Doctors, Nurses and Auxilliary staff employed by the NHS.

 

Just came in from a Nude walk around my farm at 3 AM

 

Walking nude anytime is nice, I walk round my olive grove, its not a long walk but nice to do, just being naked and walking is the thing to do anytime.

Early morning and the evening is the best time.
