If you think I am a vegetarian or anything close to it, you obviously know very little about me. Most of my protein comes from meat and nuts, and not the same two you often indulge in.

I was just wondering where the protein is in Subway and pizza. Obviously there is some with the meat and cheese, but not a lot.

You have said before that you consume your weight in protein, so I was just wondering how.

I love pizza myself, but there are too many carbs and too little protein in it.

Congrats on your metabolism slowing down.

I am going to eat chicken now, probably with milk to drink.

I ate noodles for brunch. For dinner, I'm going to eat mixed beans that I cooked from dried beans and some apples that I stewed.

Hahahaha!!! OMFG I walked back into this thread drunk and shit is hilarious.

PR - question - how much do you spend per month on food? I have never even heard of such an elaborate diet.

The funny thing is, I don't drink a "vegetarian protein shake," and I don't know where he's even getting that from, since I drink whey protein powder from grass-fed cows.

Also, I spend a lot of money on food. I'm not sure how much, but a lot. I try to buy meats and produce which are local from the public market as much as possible. The grocery store is what kills me. I wish I didn't spend as much on food and supplements as I do, because I really need to be saving my money.

And to keep it on track - I had 4 american brown ales (local), 4 sam adams, 2 blue moons, a bowl of chips and salsa, an 11oz sirloin, a chicken breast with a bunch of shit cooked on it, corn on the cob, and loaded mashed potatoes.

I get a good amount of my protein from beer :cheers2:

I spend a lot too and the sad thing is.. it's basically all shitty food. I just don't have the time or energy to prep and cook. Most of the time at least. I would estimate I spend $400-500 per month on booze/food/tips, and another $150-200 at the grocery store.

I am so sick of beers that are hoppy for the sake of being hoppy. They seem to dominate the craft beer market. I prefer a good brown ale, or something that's on the maltier side without being too malty. I really like the smoothness and mellow flavor of brown ales.

Right? I'm in the same boat. I am hopped out. Although, at the moment I still find a brown ale with just enough hops to spice it up a little quite refreshing.

To me, "cooking" is usually throwing a few chicken breasts or a salmon fillet in the oven at 375. I keep things pretty simple, so the effort involved is minimal.

I get all extravagant. Spices, marinades, all that shit. So I just avoid it.
