What Did You Eat Today That Was Delicious?

I had super good greek food from a Greek place nearby for dinner! I had a big salad with some lamb skewers on the side.

Today I went nuts and bought a ton of desserts at work (new bakery job). I have worked there for almost a month now and hadn't tried any desserts yet. Customers keep asking me for recommendations and I never know what to say. I got my paycheck today and decided to bring home a bunch of stuff to share with my roommates and boyfriend, so I would know (best excuse ever!).

I got some cupcakes (chocolate brownie, red velvet and black forest), some cheesecake bites with various fruits on top, a couple canolis and some lemon meringue pie slices. I invited a friend over too and we all sat around with forks trying everything and smoking weed. It was an awesome night! The best thing was the cheesecake bites with chocolate covered strawberries on top.

 

deli roast beef. for a nibble. also brownie bites.
(went to the store today, had to renew big thing of chocklet and get a couple of bags of dark chocklet minis for the little goblings in case any show up tomarrow, whenever it is)
i think i had avacado and spinich leaf on 9 grain bread earlier.
and the meal before that, pulled pork in rice.
never said i don't ever eat it, i just avoid overdoing pork products, as in more then once a month, if that.
all except the first were yesterday according the clock. the first too, as it just turned midnight five minuets ago here.
day before that i had a kind of soup with tuna and spinch tortalini. those are the ones i remember.
and a couple of pumpkin icecream mochi for desert, i think that was day before yesterday too.

 

I went to my parents' for dinner again!, I had a big green salad covered in veggies with vinaigrette, then a steak piled high with caramelized onions, mushrooms and blue cheese and potatoes on the side. My mom even made an apple crumble for dessert.

 

Man this thread seems to have died... I liked it. Come on guys what tasty foods did you eat?

I had a sturgeon burger that my boyfriend brought home from work! It was delicious!

 

I shared a piece of Mars bar cheesecake. Damn it was good

I had a raspberry jelly covered cheesecake bite from work today. They are tiny but super filling.

 

I'm going to buy something nice on the way to work tonight, just so I can post something good here. It definitely is a good thread.

 

We don't all have people in culinary vocations in our circle! We'll have to live vicariously through you, keep 'em coming! I've been clearing out the fridge of odd and ends not worth mentioning. More sustenance than delicious meals. Y'all are making me hungry again!

 

This is the best I could do for a quick stop at the grocery.

I just now read the ingredients. I didn't realize they put flavor enhancers, colors, and preservatives in it.

For Dinner Tonight, All To Be Washed Down With Copious Amounts Of Dry White....
