well today was the furst day of the labour day weekend (at least i think that's what this week end is, i'm not actually sure about that)
great bar be que cook off over in sparks.

a bit pricey, but not as bad as a fancy resteraunt. at least if you only bought one of the "three bone samplers"
which were enough for a meal for me. (most of them charged seven bux for this, one or two tried to gouge eight)

next time, ether tomarrow, which is now today, or early friday,
becaus once the weekend gets started, the lines will be an hour long to get up to the counter,
i'll get the pulled pork instead.

i kinda forgot you sorta need teeth for the ribs, and mine, whats left of them,
are almost disfunctional. i've still got a couple that i was able to tear the meat off with though,
and of course, it was wonderful.

they're a variant of cherry tomatoes.. they tend to be a little bit larger, and have a bit firmer/dryer flesh, (more like a roma)

I slept. I'm having an extended Hip Forums binge and then I mean to get down to work. I see little scope for progression. I'm getting sick of myself here. I'll be around but less so hopefully.

Oh. And I just ate some dates.

My girlfriend made her home made chicken noodle soup. It's the best soup I've ever had. No cold can survive it lol

    @Eric!

dealing with the celiac, i have to make mine from scratch using a nonreactive flour. that being said.. they're awesome.

2 cups flour (you can use all purpose, although cake flour makes an awesome biscuit, believe it or not)
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white vinegar+ enough whole milk to make 2/3 cup (or 2/3 cup buttermilk if you have it)
    1 stick butter.

    preheat oven to 450F

grate butter into other dry ingredients, toss well to coat shreds, add buttermilk, stir just til it comes together. flour countertop, turn out, flour top of dough (gonna be messy) pat, fold over in thirds, press (dont' roll. press) into rectangle, sprinkle a little flour, fold into thirds, grab round cookie cutter, biscuit cutter or drinking glass, cut, place on pan with sides touching, lightly indent top with thumb, brush tops with melted butter, bake for 20-25 minutes.

makes a dozen regular or 6 cathead

simple, but when I make em, they vanish as quick as they come out of the oven.

Publix sub with Turkey, mayo (I usually use very little mayo when I make sandwiches but for some reason the publix mayo is so tasty), spinach, onions, tomato, and a sprinkle of sub dressing. So good.
