What Did You Eat Today That Was Delicious?

same things as what i cooked, or zapped if you prefer to put it that way. i tend to mostly cook for myself, the very things i most like, though with a reasonable diversity as i can, given the tiny refrigerator i have.
dark is definately the only kind of chocklet, other then powdered. i generally get the fair traded kind, or so it claims to be, at tj's.

 

My boyfriend and I went to my parents' for dinner! They made 2 kinds of curry and coconut rice, and for dessert my mom had made a pumpkin swirl cheesecake. The cheesecake was so good, it had a ginger snap and pecan crust.

I took my girl out to eat tonight (or rather last night) to a Chinese restaurant called Chen Garden. Reservations were made for 7, but we ended up waiting until almost 7:30 before we were seated. I was slightly annoyed to say the least. Once the food arrived, everything was good. We ordered this flaming volcano drink for two which was very potent to say the least. She got pork dumplings and some chicken dish I can't remember the name of. I got General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll. The food was delicious, and so was the chocolate delicacy I indulged in for desert once I got to my girlfriend back to her place. On the way home I stopped by Wegmans and picked up these awesome cannolis (seen below) and some varied pumpkin ales I am currently drunk on in celebration of a pretty killer (for me) weekend.

 

I got myself some port salut cheese the other day. I'm enjoying some with crackers right now.

 

I ate one banana shortly before. I am now drinking coffee.

Left over apple crisp for breakfast. I consider it a fruit.

 

I ate Chese, Tomato, Egg, Mushroom, Olive.

 

But don't you know cheese make you fat?

 

My granddaughter wanted ice cream at 10:00 this morning so I ate a Butterfinger Blast from Sonic. It was good but I think it made me sluggish all day.

I couldn't stand the aroma of the pot roast cooking anymore so I took some beef broth, poured it over rice noodles and sliced some cremini mushrooms into the bowl. That's appeased my craving for now and it was really good!

 

I baked some cranberry orange bread. And made some curried butternut squash bisque, which turned out well.

 

My boyfriend made me cheesy tortellini for dinner. I also bought a donut earlier. I don't normally get stuff like that but I was walking by Timmies and the mood hit me. I got a raspberry filled jelly donut.

 

I split a "the works" fries at new York fries with my boyfriend today. I know it's really a pile of garbage but it was sooooooo goooooooood. I also got a bag of rosebuds at bulk barn that I have been munching on.

 

My favorite chocolate) Black with hazelnuts.

 

Today I had a fish sandwich from my boyfriends work. He works at the only good seafood place in town almost. The sandwich was big cubes of halibut lightly fried with garlic caper mayo, hot sauce and lettuce on a big kaiser bun. Mmmmmmmm.
