    It's maple syrup swirls (looks like a cinnamon bun made with maple instead, they sell the swirls separately as well) and the pie is about 5 of the swirls with a deliciously gooey maple syrup sauce holding them together in a pie shell. Oh man was it good!

    I made a Lime Jello and Cool Whip pie for the granddaughters because it's Saint Patrick's Day. Actually, I made two pies so there's plenty here!

    I got an almond cookie from the Asian grocer near me. I loooove almond cookies, they have the best texture!

    I made homemade jalapeno poppers from scratch. Took forever, but were delicious. I have contact dermatitis on my hands from handling all those peppers thought.

    Yesterday I had a huge poutine in montreal from la banquise! I got the one called l'asterix. It had smoked meat and mushrooms on it and a huge dollop of sour cream. It was possibly the best poutine of my life!

    lol Yep, poutine is a sloppy mess, but it tastes oh so good. I missed Poutine Week last year and vowed to hit a few restaurants this time around but now with this high BP thing and low sodium regimen, I don't dare. I should concoct a low sodium poutine and make a few here at home!
