Port Salut cheese (it was so good, and filling!) with red grapes and an Oze Montreal sesame bagel.

Went out for pizza yesterday. We had what they call all-dressed here (well, "toute garni") which includes cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers. I really liked this pizza. To me the crust makes the pizza, and this one was really good.

Steak strips added to stir fry pineapple, green beans, basil, sesame seeds.... over wild rice.

Pineapple and steak are soooo yummy together.

Today I bought myself a slice of "chocolate truffle royale" cake! Omg it was so good I should have taken a picture! It was thick layers of mousse, one chocolate and one vanilla, on top of a layer of dark chocolate cake. The whole thing was then coated in more chocolate. I swear I could eat an entire cake by myself if it was that kind!

Although I enjoyed everything, nothing was really delicious. I ate some spelt bread with normal smelling cheese. Had a banana. I guess this post doesn't fit in this thread. Some days you're just easily pleased food wise.

And I know this isn't the place for it really but I can't help myself... especially because I'm not sure if this is trolling...

Something like 100 million sharks are killed annually for their fins. To make it worse they literally throw the entire rest of the shark back most of the time while it is still alive to die a slow painful death. It is destroying the entire marine ecosystem. Shark fin soup is a horrible thing and there is no scientific proof it "keeps your libido up". Even if it did, that's a pretty selfish reason to support destroying our oceans.

I didn't know that about sharks and their fins! But I'm wondering how are dying sharks being thrown back without their fins (enough reason on itself) destroying the marine ecosystem?

The top predator in the ocean food chain is being wiped out, sending everything else out of whack. There are several species of shark that are now endangeed thanks to shark finning. If you add to that the sharks also getting caught in drag nets (which is a vry small portion compared to those dying from finning), sharks are screwed. I won't be surprised if there are none left in about 10 years.

That's one perk of living in southern Europe :) We had apple trees. Oranges don't grow well here. We used to have the same conviction about tomatoes but its getting trendy to grow your own vegetables and lots of dutch people seem to be trying to grow cherry tomatos outside (and it is actually working :p)
