What Did You Eat Today That Was Delicious II?

Used to have a butcher here in town who was able to obtain lots of 'safari' meats for me. Have eaten: Bison, camel, crocodile, eland, gazelle, Kudu, Water buffalo, and Zebra - all of them were absolutely delicious !!!

it was day before yeasterday, serve yourself buffettes have yet to re-open, but design your own salads, that they kitchen then makes up and brings to your table are available.
unfortunately, well i always get a little bit of everything, so i indicated a good number of items, er but instead of getting a "LITTLE" of each of them, i ended up with a ton of them.
well it was still good, and i still ate most of it, but it was way more then i should or would have. well that was the first time i had the chance to eat anything i hadn't made myself.

today, meat raviolis (from the freezer without sauce) in a clear bullion and lime broth, with some green onions and bella mushrooms.

a week ago i tried some of that liquid egg stuff, made an omlet with sausages in it, turned out great. also used in a chocklet cake mix and that worked wonderful too.

still wish i had a big refrigerator so i could use more fresh basic ingredients more often. that i don't is why i don't more often have good things to say about good things to eat.

 

Not a refrigerator you need, but a proper freezer !!!

 

It's interesting how a post like yours that mentions a healthy option has gotten no "likes"...but now you do have mine.

Next time you make Cottage Pie, after making the mash potato, grate or slice some cheese and place on top of the potato and place it under the grill, the cheese and potato will go all golden brown - its delicious I promise matey.

Attended a Demonstration, but the heat was a bit too much, which triggered an asthma attack and I was scooped up by an ambulance for a nice ride to A&E.

The ambulance crew carried me out of the crowd in a small wheel chair darlin' . I'm slowly recovering, feel as if I've been run down by a truck, but I'll get there.

I have had to give up 'protest marching' because I can no longer walk as fast as the march itself, coming to terms with that fact was hard enough, but it now seems I'm going to have to come to terms with attending protest demonstrations altogether. That is going to be hard !!!

 

Yes I know and understand, but I've been a rebel all my life - I come from a long line of rebels - my Grandmother was a suffragette with Sylvia Pankhurst, was a 'matchgirl' (Bryant & May 'match' strike), both my Grandfathers and my father were active Trade Unionists (I followed in their footsteps) and have attended many marches, demonstrations and picket lines. I was in the forefront of the Battle of Grosvenor Square during the Vietnam War demonstrations and countless others before and since.
