Drove home from Gatwick Airport.

 

Video call with mama who lives out of country. Planning to weed all around the house later. Expecting a good friend visiting from Texas

Just finished mowing 1/2 acre of grass that has invaded my clover field for my bees to make honey. out of. VERY little clover to be seen, thinking it's just not a 'clover year", very little Dutch clover in my lawn this year too. Normally I stop mowing it about July first and let the clover bloom til mid Aug.

 

Nothing special. Went to work, got pissed off. Came home and watered plants. Just chilling and thinking about having a bourbon or 2.

 

Nothing. Absolutely nothing……
Got to get ready for work in an hour- then I have the next two days off!

Got gas for the mowers... Ouch

Mowed the entryway, transplanted a couple of ferns... Moved a hollow log out of the yard to a place under one of the trees. Did some watering in the meditation garden.

 

Yes Cabdy darlin' - but that depends on how big the glass is, I've seen some glasses that are big enough to take a whole bottle of wine !!!

 

-woke up to get a cup of coffee, received Father’s Day cards from wife and daughter (hugs and kisses included)

-watered the front yard, swept the dead June bugs off the front porch

-tried to figure out a way to keep the birds from shitting on my mailbox- because nothing has worked thus far!

 

More weeding, heavy lunch. Need to move the raised beds from old garden to new garden in the evening

Reflective tape, reflective owl, shiny pinwheel………still shittin’ on my mailbox and I’m really getting pissed.

 

Let us assume your mailbox is 16" long.
I would buy welded wire that has 2"x1" holes. And then cut a 16" x 12" wide, and fold it in a way that there are two sets of 4" long spikes. And then fix it with a piece of metal strip and sheet metal screws. Sorry about the poor picture. I will try to make the spikes and take a picture and post tomorrow. hope it helps
