Got my car serviced, got emissions inspection done, visited sister in law, went out for lunch, and ended our day grocery shopping follow by making pizza at home. Busy day today.

    Mulching... what else.

Located another rabbit nest in the back garden... So I have a different family front and back. Gonna be a lot of babies this year.

I “bush-hogged” the walking trails though our 50 acres with my John Deere tractor, then cooked my wife’s birthday dinner: linguine with white clam sauce, bacon-wrapped asparagus and ciabatta toast points. … tasty!

Took my grandson to the Autism clinic for school. Waited at the house for the medical equipment guy to pic up the bed and lift. Not much more...brought the kiddo home from his little school.

Moved some perennials, pulled some weeds, getting ready for mulch in the back patio garden. Mowed the back yard.

Built a stone step at the end of the front patio garden... The stone path is finally done.

Limbed up a Blue Spruce and did a mulched bed under it yesterday, did some mowing/weed eater/etc. various places around the house. At this point I'm jumping from one area to another to just try to keep up with all these spaces before they become "weed city".

Today, final brick work around the gutter drain pipe... (Same area as the last step on that front patio garden I did the other day) Most of the front is ready for mulch... 60 bags worth. (not today...) Did some push mowing right up against the front patio garden.

Put out the humming bird feeders.

Mowed the entryway, edges of the driveway, and the front yard... Went to town after that, too hot out for much else. Picked up a couple of annuals for the front stoop/patio garden area.

There is an ancient oak stump just outside the front door that has been used as a "flower pot" for annuals. Everything else up front is perennials and shrubs.

I bought this place 9 years ago... Today (ish). (I don't remember exact days/dates anymore)

Mostly hide from the new snow. Did start a small fire in the greenhouse, then went out to friends place and stoked his boiler up to keep his plants warm which I watered before I left. Feed his dog and cat as he's outta town for a week. Came home and feed my bees and rearranged their hives too try to get them to rebalance population.
