Worked, went out for dinner, now lying in bed browsing HIP and catching up on my paranormal show recordings.
Went to a friends birthday dinner at a steakhouse and now just hanging out at their place. I think we're getting ready to.leave though.
pretty much any time i'm not having to go to the store from getting low on groceries, and pretty much that's limited to about five times a month, less if i can, i'm either asleep, cleaning up after myself, or exercizing my imagination to make something, usually on this computer, but occasionally i'll add a little something to my physical miniature world. if it weren't for this plague, and the non-appeal of being surrounded by pavement, i'd probably get out more often. i remember a couple of years ago, riding the bus just to do so, to go to a library or a college or arboretum. or even walking past the pavement to get to some of the closer places. i could start going again to baha'i meetings, but much as i believe in most of it in principal, the need for anything to be infallable, is the one part of any belief, that i don't. i wish the furrys had meetings every month or every other week like the POrtland Science Fiction Society did when i lived up there. i'm not sure what Sierra Nevada Anime Fans United does other then, like BLFC, hold a convention once a year. anyway with this plague still going on, i'm not going anywhere any more then i absolutely have to anyway, which is why i haven't gotten my shot yet because i'd still have to go somewhere to get one, and do so just to set it up to do so, since i have nether car nor phone. (and there's always some asshat on the bus, who thinks they're proving something to the world by refusing to keep their mask up over their nose) so really the only people i "know" anywhere in the world any more, are on line, on here or nations states or fur affinity.
I found an old skateboard I had since i was younger that I was never great at but I went out to this empty church parking lot next door to my building and just played around on the skateboard. I was only out there for like an hour but its what I did today (so far).
Sunday school(morning) and Freethinkers (afternoon) book discussion. I do Methodists in the Morning, Atheists/agnositcs in the afternoon, and Disciples of Christ at dinnertime.
Ran the last lap of the annual race to be finished up with outside stuff before the first snow for the coming winter. Started about an hour ago and not likely to melt this late in the year. Always undone projects but the garden is in and tilled, wood pile in good shape and all the hoses rolled up and brought in. Didn't get leaves swept up but that because 80 percent of them are still on the trees.
Worked, came home & picked up hundreds of sticks blown down from our trees due to the recent strong storms, then picked up dog poop, then mowed lawn which was the ultimate goal after work today. Just got done eating a couple of pulled pork sandwiches and soon I'll be off to my daughter's volleyball games (4:30 and 7:00).
i do meowing myself. to hard to mow a damd parking lot. not much on non-shopping days, except what i always do, playing trains and making stuff on the computer, and eating the perishable stuff from the store yesterday before it rots. potstickers and fahitas, next couple of days what's left will go in the soup. then canned meat and noodles until the next time to the store. wish i could magically get my shots without leaving the house. washing two years of laundry in the bathroom sink will keep my occupied. that's what i probably should be doing night and day, but my 'home' is in my dreams and on the computer, though mostly not on the internet, other then on furaffinity, nation states, and here. i do actually make things and not just play, but then that is how i play too.
Finished shutting down the green house yesterday so when I woke to it snowing pretty good decided to just take the day off. Did throw a load in the washer . Cooked up a pot of beans too.
