I guess it's time for part 2 of my "what did you ____ today" thread suite. What did you do to get moving today? Hopefully we can all find some inspiration or ideas from each other here. So, what did you do?
Coffee, lots of coffee. But later I might get out in the yard and clean up some branches and stuff, if it ain't too wet out there.
Does mental exercise count? Practicing pointer arithmetic, various iterations of constant pointer variables, enumerations, Symbolic Constants in C. Otherwise, I'm just going to go for a walk.
The only "exercise' I will get today is walking with a bag of laundry to the train and then tonight my bicycle ride to my friend and back. But I'm only going there to chill with some beer and weed The harsh wind made it more worthy of the word exercise though, last few times at least
I cleaned my bong. Next I'm going to paint a wall with a sponge roller. After I dirty my bong a little.
I get all the exercise that I need simply by walking and using the stairs rather than the elevator. Work in the theater can also be quite physically demanding at times. When I have been working at a desk all day, I go for a short walk after dinner. One of the funniest things that I can remember was the evening that one of my friends was getting anxious because his wife had taken the car and he needed it to get to his session at the gym. The gym was less than 10 minutes walk from his home. He could no understand why I burst out laughing.
i've walked back and forth to the laundry room a couple times. and that will be it for today. you should have asked yesterday, it was the annual adult swim meet. i'm pretty sure that event is the most cardio i get all year.
Cybex Arctrainer - 400 Calories (or so it said when I hopped off...) Then showered. And then 5 laps at a local shopping mall before any of the stores opened (they open the doors to the malls around here early so that people can walk laps). Later I will walk another five laps. (different mall this time. there are at least two...)
YFM seems hesitant now to intimidate us with her list of sunday exercises after us slobs being so honest
it wasn't "adult" swim meet, if that's what you're thinking. although there were a couple people there who i would have invited to such an event.
Probably but you should give the rest of us a little bit more credit, aside from you there was only one reference to intoxication.
You run almost a half marathon for your Sunday morning exercise? That's almost intimidating good shape. And on St. Patrick's Day!
