Yeah, pics of muffins would be nice! Or chunks of boneless skinless chicken breasts. [IMG] All I have is boring ole omelettes. Here's my mangled classic dill omelette. Even trying to hide the jagged edges with peaches didn't help. lol But it tasted great!

Tonight I made a quick coconut milk chowder.
Potatoes, chopped onions and garlic, a bit of linguica sausage, can of clams, and of course coconut milk! Edit; forgot to mention, I added a bit of butter and some bacon fat I reserved earlier.
Who could ask for a more perfect union of lipids than that of coconut fat, bacon fat and butter!

Put it all in a pot and simmer till the spuds are done.

Garnished with a sprig of fresh herb
Best served with sourdough crisps or soda crackers.

    :D

So much talk about it, so rye toast with miracle whip, lettuce and bacon.....all I have eaten all day, and it was wonderful.
When really hungry , everything tastes 100 times better, too.

Unusual cooking method, and the marinade looks simply tantilizing! Excellent choice of beverage, a great compliment to such high level cuisine!

Hmm probably those smaller ones that look more like the vietnamese ones we have here [IMG]

I like the bigger chinese springroll a lot too, we call them all lumpias/loompias in the Netherlands. It is a bit strange how much chinese/indonesian food I like but am not really interested in japanese cuisine (i never tried it to such extent that I can judge it :p).

I should try more typical greek food too sometime. I have no idea what fried hallumi tastes like. Hummus seems like my thing as well.
