yeah I hope you're right, I just unplugged it and opened the door so I figure by the time I wake up in the morning it should be good to go
Come on over, Heat! Today I made sunny side up. With a modest helping of bacon. This bacon was really heavy on the maple, yum! And peaches. I love when peaches are in season! Ha, I just realized the eggs look like a skull. I'll have to keep that in mind for Halloween.
I cooked a Pizza which claimed the sincere army of Egypt only had the privilege to speak true and honest to the self politics, Normal freedom oriented business was lead for the politics of the phony points of common conformist debate, and thus was the means to knowing what the masses really wanted. Palestine and the Hamas shall want greed, the second way; no; Palestine shall want science the honest first way ... of industrialism? :chef:
Ok! Breakfast is at 6 a.m.! :-D Not really. It's just been so hot that I've been cooking mainly breakfasts. Later on when the sun is beating down, we just grab anything cool… salads, sandwiches, ice, more ice. Your meal sounds delish, Meliai. Yesterday's breakfast was scrambled eggs and pancakes. And look, Baz, maple syrup! Today was French toast, made with challah, an egg bread. I was finally able to find it here. I prefer it to other breads for French toast. And maple sausages. They weren't as good as the maple bacon.
I didn't really cook anything but my wife makes me great food. Dinner this evening was butternut squash soup made from our garden and quesadillas with Cannellini beans, bacon, brussell sprouts and cheese. Good stuff. I might just go eat the left-overs right now.
Nice, Luce! Don't go easy on the maple syrup, pour it on there. They're all such delicious breakfasts, I can't pick a favourite! Well, the challah French toast is a personal favourite of mine.
Thanks, Baz! Challah French toast is my friend Moishe's favourite too! It's (still) so hot today, maybe we'll have maple syrup alone. On ice cream, mmm… Actually we're having Toulouse sausages with mashed potatoes. Bangers and mash, with a French twist! Multicultural food. lol
lemon and bullion, while waiting for it to boil added mirapoix (pre chopped celery, carrot and onion) and salad shrimp. then added mushroom tortolini once it was biling good. reduced heat until torotlini ready to eat. super simple kind of thing i usually do.
Tried another Classic French omelette. Chervil and dill this time. With nectarines, yum. I just can't get the dang thing to fall into a taper at the bottom. I need to spend a day making nothing but Classic French omelettes. I only have so many people I can feed them to though!
store bought factory made (probably by machine) meat lasagna is in the oven i will be adding some local cheese to it because those factory robots are so fucking cheap on the cheese
looks pretty perfect to me. My omelets always end up looking more like scrambled eggs lol. How do you get them to taper?
I used to be pathetic at making omelettes. I can't flip them! Then I saw this video. I posted if before but it got scrambled (speaking of scrambled) in the changeover. He shows how to make a Country omelette and then the Classic French omelette right after. Look how nicely tapered it is at both ends. I guess I have to concentrate on the other end more before I invert it onto the plate. It's like walking and chewing gum at the same time. Takes practice. ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57afEWn-QDg
