Bob and Doug are dinosaurs. Way before La Fin du Monde's time. Of course they'd turn their noses up at anything but Molson's anyway. lol
Those Taste of Thai microwave noodles. First time I've cooked food with a microwave for like 4 months.
I thought you lived in Montreal? Or am I mixing you up with someone else? I've been to Montreal a handful of times but I've never seen Molson Canadian there, I thought that it was a Quebec nationalist thing to not allow Canadian haha.
Yes I'm in Montreal. I grew up here but have lived in Vancouver and Ontario for years. I just recently moved back. Is Molson Canadian hard to get here? It was started in Quebec and Molson’s head office is in Montreal, I think, so I wonder why. Maybe they want their own version… Molson Quebecois. ;-) I'm on the west island and it's available here. Maybe it differs by region. Of course Bob and Doug probably aren't from Quebec. Maybe the east coast, lol. I'm not sure exactly where they've been sizzling that back bacon. They've always just been generally in the Great White North. :-D
Teriyaki chicken stir fry on Jasmine rice. Loaded it up with veggies. It was good and everyone gobbled it up. No leftovers, even better!
Oh we have the Molson Canadian available here, I saw it in convenient stores and all. With the heat I tend to avoid turning a burner on and usually prefer to eat raw. If mixing can be considered "cooking", I made smoothies for me and my man this morning with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, a bit of papaya, half a banana, whey (not the dry isolated protein, real liquid whey!) and flax seeds. It was fresh, fulfilling and SO good!
we had some friends over for the weekend and my wife and I made a bunch of awesome food for them. my wife made a delicious apple and pear oatmeal bake thing, we made enchiladas with homemade corn tortillas (gluten free!) for dinner on saturday, and then I made tomato, goat cheese, and spinach omelettes with fried potatoes for breakfast on sunday.
Gorton’s Crispy Battered Fish Fillets smothered in ketchup 100% real fish, no fillers and no MSG. Now let me get this straight; It’s Gorton’s of Gloucester, Massachusetts which is Americas oldest seaport and birthplace of the U.S. fishing industry but the fish is Pollock, caught off the coast of Alaska Hotwater
BBQ pork loin chops, baby new taters with butter, salt and pepper, wax beans and tomato cucumber salad with feta.
Today I made some european style hot-dogs (german sausage, ciabatta bun, hot mustard and saerkraut) with homemade fries and salad for lunch and Dijon mustard-Provence herbs grilled chicken breasts, served on a big garden salad for supper.
I ate 12 eggs boiled. 1/2 a Lbs of Bacon. 4 Large Meatballs made yesterday. A King Cut Prime Rib I bought earlier in the day but was too busy at the time to eat so as I order them RARE...I threw it on the BBQ. A Caesar Salad with Blue Fin Tuna Belly slices on top. 4 more boiled eggs. Sliced Zucchini and Summer squash with onion and butter and herbs from my organic garden fried. And now I am eating a Turkey Leg. I am 6 foot 2 inches and 237 lbs right now...I lost a pound of muscle and need to get it back. 4% Body Fat. I eat roughly 5000 to 7500 calories a day. I carbo boost before a job anywhere from 25,000 to 30,000 calories. But I also run every day swim a mile 3 times a week and do all sorts of training Martial arts and weapons included. I have to FORCE myself sometimes to eat. TooReal
We're back! I have so much to tell you! ;-) I finally tried making the Classic French omelette! It didn't turn out half bad. I made it with 3 eggs, not the 4 that Jacques used. I'll need a bit of practice, but it wasn't as difficult as I'd imagined. And it tasted pretty darn good. I managed that nice creamy center. I used the herbs for a Fines Herbes omelette, parsley, chervil, tarragon and chives. I really liked the combo. Here it is below. With my mound of bacon. I tried it again a couple of times. Instead of parsley I used dill the second time and basil the third. It was also good with those. I particularly liked the dill version. There's a pic of the third omelette as well, with the basil. It came out better, but I'm still trying for that tapered-at-the-ends look. And they did have the creamy center. I thought I might not like that, I don't like runny eggs, but this wasn't stringy but more like a custard. Very tasty!
Those look really good. The second one is not far off from being tapered! The moisture content looks right as well. Okay I am coming for breakfast!!
The defroster on my freezer broke, and instead of fixing it my slumlord has lied to us and told us its an old fridge without an automatic defroster and we must turn it off and manually defrost every few months...even though it clearly says frost free fridge on it and sooo we had to clear out the fridge and freezer today so we can turn it off for a couple of days. The only things left, as I haven't bothered to go grocery shopping, were onions, some squash my mom froze for mw from her garden, some cheese, and a big pack of sausage. I threw it all together and baked it. It wasn't half bad.
shouldnt take a couple of days just put the food in coolers then unplug it and open doors..aim a fan that way itll be done in 3 hours max
