I made "Mexican Goulash". In electric skillet 1.5 lbs ground beef browned with 1 diced onion 1/2 diced bell pepper 1 diced clove garlic Drain grease Add, don't drain any of these 1 can corn 1 can sliced ripe olives 1 can diced tomatoes Add 2 tblsp chili powder, some salt and pepper. Bring to boil and add 1 package of egg noodles and 2 cups water. Return to boil, cover, and simmer until noodles are done. Stir occasionally and make sure you don't need to add more water. Top with grated cheddar cheese, cover and let simmer until cheese is melted.
I bet that was really good, huh? ...and ambitious of you. i love chili, and you have made me hungry for a good meal like that one....eating small things on the run around here, as i am stuck cleaning one room which is taking forever, and I am not that ambitious for it, but need to clean.....Thanksgiving is drawing near.....
Last night i made chickpeas and kale cooked in a creamy tomato sauce and served over pearl couscous. I was very happy with it considering i made it because those were the only ingredients left in my house and I didn't feel like going to the store
I didn't realize exactly how much 150g of Parmesan was, next time I will cut it back. Also the recipe doesn't say to but I cooked the bacon first.
Oh no...now I don't know how I will be able to concentrate on work tonight. The color does look better, but the original post still looks delicious.
I'll be eating a snack of a banana and carrots in a few minutes, and I'll be think of you and your mexican goulash My taste buds are going to be disappointed.
I'm going to taunt you even more. I'm heating up a hot sub in the toaster oven. It's the second half of a sub I bought yesterday, it was so filling I couldn't finish it. Steak, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, fried onions, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Enjoy your carrots! :-D
Lol. Lucy, I edited the capital b in my smiley on my earlier post. It was supposed to be a tongue sticking out.
