I made borscht today. Gotta use up the beets! It's pretty chilly today so hot soup really hit the spot. Besides the beets I put in cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and I fried onions and mushrooms together and put them in too. And a cup of tomato juice. A dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh dill to finish it off. It turned out really good.
Thanks. I can't begin to tell you how good it tasted, mostly because I had to smell it cooking for so long. lol It went really well with fermented veggies. I stuffed myself silly. Just to taunt you all once more... :-D

I made a Mac and cheese/bacon and shredded chicken. Not as good as I remember it. I believe ham works better. I didn't eat half of it either before I felt completely stuffed from the carbs.
