Now, you just need to have a sock hop in there!

We did that as kids when mom would wax. She would use the buffer and we would skid around the floor in our socks. :)

I almost forgot that I started cleaning out the spice cabinet and tossing stuff I don't ever really use.

Went through my cosmetics and make up and got rid of all the stuff I don't really use (there's still too much stuff there, but I can't bring myself to throw away the things I only recently bought :-/)
Cleaned the bathroom (sink and toilet I do every day, and bathtub and everything else once a week)
    Cleaned the stove
Cleaned out and organized my laptop (too many files….and I tend to bookmark too much stuff xD)
Did all the floors and vacuumed everything
    Did some laundry (mostly towels)

And now I can watch The Honourable Woman in peace xD

I only use like 6 spices, so it's easier for me xD

But I should get to reorganizing my kitchen cabinets and drawers too one of these days.
Closets too...I should just try on everything I own, and get rid of all the things I don't like, or whatever doesn't fit anymore.
I also want to get rid of old towels and old bedding, and some blankets.

i cleaned some brake rotors before installing them...then i cleaned the rust off the caliper brackets where the pad clips go ....a lot of people skip that step and then the pads are too tight and wear out much quicker

then i cleaned the neverseize off my hands....geeze i hate that stuff

No, I clean those once a day, pretty much. It literally takes a few minutes xD
Bathtub and everything else in the bathroom - once a day.

    No, never did that! You?

I thought about offering stuff (like clothes and cosmetics and make up that is good, but just not for me) to people, but you never know how people might react xD

I already use the laziest technique ever lol, I dont even really fold. I roll. It is a great spacesaver. I have too many clothes.

Now i am curious though, what is your folding technique?

I lived in a rental a few years ago that had horrible wax and dirt build up. They never looked clean because the dirt was built into the wax. I tried to strip it once but it was a HUGE job, I think i did a little 2x2 area and gave up. I would have been more determined if it was my own house.

What do you use to strip it? I cant remember what i used but it wasnt v ery effective.

Whoops, I meant to say "once a day". I tried to get my thoughts out too fast.

I have clothing swaps with my girlfriends about once a season. It is a lot of fun, and a great way to a.) get new wardrobe items and b.) see wardrobe items that you love but do not wear anymore, go to new homes. We also draw numbers for who gets to choose first, so it is a pretty fair trade as far as the actual selecting goes.

I use the Kon Mari folding method. So my drawers look very similar to this....

If you can't fix it with duct tape you just need a bigger hammer...

This thread reminded me of a British television series...Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners....where they basically pair up two people with OCD (or just two people who really, really like to clean lol), and two really messy/dirty/hoarder people. And the OCD person is suppose to help the messy one clean their place.
