Could you not disconnect the vent at the back and poke through it from the inside?

I cleaned the cat carrier that the kitten sleeps in. Hubby had been feeding her alot of rich yogurt while I was out of town and she had a poop accident in it today.

    Maybe...

Good idea. I might try that; however, it probably needs to be cleaned from both ends if the truth is known.

Oh, I don't want to change mine either. I am far too lazy to do that today. I will do it tomorrow, when I do ALL the laundry. I can't put it off longer than that, because my husband was complaining today that he is almost out of underwear.

I folded laundry today. I hate hate hate folding laundry. I actually had a load of laundry still in the dryer from last weekend because I couldnt bring myself to fold it during the week. So i folded that plus 2 unfolded loads that have been hanging out in laundry baskets for a couple of weeks. I am so slack about laundry.

I need a maid just to fold and put away laundry. Also, ive said laundry too many times and am starting to question whether it is a real word.

Have you considered learning a new folding method? I used to hate folding laundry, until I read this book:

and I learned a completely new method of folding clothes. Now, I love folding laundry. Everything is always so neat and tidy in my drawers, instead of a big mess of partially folded clothing.

technically, it's probably faster to just buy him some more underwear.

underwear is probably the last thing i would run out of. i do laundry every week, and i probably have over a month's worth of underwear. i'm actually hoping some of it wears out pretty soon, so i can throw it away. i have a hard time shutting my underwear drawer after laundry day.

You're right, I should probably just go buy him some more underwear. It would be a super awesome wifey thing to do. I just bought 10 pairs of new underwear last week, and it made me very happy. I don't have any problem closing my underwear drawer, though. Could have something to do with the skimpy undies I tend to wear.

I began to tackle the issue with the dryer and the laundry room being so hot. Right off the bat I see part of the problem. The flexible tubing that runs from the back of the dryer to the wall has a huge rip in it, letting the heat from the dryer vent right into the room!

I'll see if I can cut it and make it shorter. If it won't reach I'll have to get another piece.

Luckily, my dryer vents straight through the wall to the outside. There is no long tube to be snaked out like their would be in some instances.

*Edit. I guess I could put duct tape on it.

I had to duct tape 5 big rips in that stupid white vinyl tubing. It's temporary. I'll get the aluminum one when we get paid again.

I cleaned enough lint off the floor behind the dryer to stuff a small pillow. No kidding.

I'm running a small test load, with a couple of wet towels, just to see if the room gets less hot now.

Yesterday I cleaned every little fan and box fan that I could unscrew and open. They all worked Marvelous after that.

I cleaned what I could of the couple I can't take apart in any way, which left me frustrated and put out of my mind until now. ;)

I feel like an idiot I let them get to that point. :dizzy2:

I felt this way when I cleaned the ceiling fan in my kitchen. It is amazing how well it works now. I actually get goosebumps when it is on full blast.

I felt rather ashamed at how disgusting it was. I don't think I had cleaned it since I move into this apartment 4 years ago, and who knows how long it had been before that.

There's so much that needs to be cleaned around here but it kind of happens by priority and the squeaky wheel thing.

I am with you in that crawling into a clean bed is a little it of heaven. :)

Today I looked at my floor and was ticked at myself for being lazy as of late. I stripped the wax off my hardwood floor and re-waxed the sucker. It looks good again!! :)

    That sounds like a job!

My legs are getting achy. Time to put on the support socks and sneakers and to keep on going.

It is a big job but it looks so good when it is done! Leela is still learning to go out to pee and doing really well with it all but the few accidents made it look dull in places. Not now! :)
