It was not really meant as sharing sadness, but more what you said earlier about your Grandmother not having a relationship after she had her relationship with your Grandfather. For me, it still raises that question 'what defines love'? To me, it is a very philosophic question. Maybe we should open a bottle of wine and talk about it....
There is no true proper definition of love. No two people will find the other perfect. The happy couples in life are the ones where both partners accept the others faults or annoying traits and appreciate the things they like in each other. Other couples last by one partner backing down and changing to make the other happy but will do it out of love.
No problem, lol. It is a question that eludes us all. Thank you for liking my opinion. I think it makes kind of sense. Obviously sex has to be great too but not essential.
100%. Politics can get annoying, lol. Yours is a topic that can be discussed and debated with many views id say. Every couple in the world encounters different setbacks.
Love is like a boat on river. Sometimes it's a steady flow and calm and easy sailing for those on board, other times its fast flowing and rough and you both have to hold on and work through it.
Love is easily confused with lust as the chemicals released in the body for both are very similar. I.e fight or flight , excitement or fright when your body experiences this feeling it produces cortisol a stress hormone released by the adrenal gland and your body can't tell the difference, that's why some people cry hysterically even though they are really happy. It's the same when you start to have feelings for someone When you start to have a connection or click, your body produces the same chemicals/hormones and can't tell the difference. All you can do is react, sometimes it's the right reaction other times its not.
