Wow deep stuff. I think all long term relationships go through phases made up of the different types of love described in the article. And each type is not mutually exclusive. A couple couple be experience several of the types simultaneously.

Fairly certain I had no idea what love was throughout my early years. Thought I did, I suppose. Mouthed the words occasionally. Then my first child was born---and I finally knew exactly what real love was/is.
