In addition to my earlier post--the gentle sound of cooing doves. Reminds me of my childhood when I lived across from the city park in my hometown.
Love bird calls. When I lived in Florida, every winter there was a whippoorwill in the field across the way. I hadn't heard one in years, and it's call always cheered me. The inevitable year when it didn't arrive, it was like the death of a dear friend. I've not heard a whippoorwill since.
Oh--another one---when I see stories of mistreated and neglected animals and the story turns out to show the rehabilitation of starving, abandoned little creatures that respond so beautifully to receiving love and attention from good people.
Hiking, listening to the birds singing. Listening to the sounds of flowing water over the rocks. In my own private world. It never fails to put me in a better place.
Putting on my headphones, queuing up some of my favourites (or discovering completely new stuff, too), and just closing my eyes.. If I suddenly couldn't do that for some reason? Yikes. Great sounding tunes can just completely change the trajectory of your day.
Generally just creating stuff It gives you a very nice feeling of control and calmness, when you make something original, like an artwork, or even just a meal
My philosophy, i'm disconnected from everything, live my life and me not worry what is happening outside window, in world many "stupid" things, bad people and his "idiots"... Wars and other world problem no need worry about this like in classics Darwinism "idiots" kill themselves... This philosophy make me happy... PS: Sorry for bad English.
