i believe there are lots of lovely wonderful invisible things, that have absolutely nothing to do, with what anyone thinks they know about them.

that's almost first, and then every further detail you add, makes that particular detail, and the whole concept that much less likely.

out of infinite possibilities, the more specific you get, the smaller a slice of that infinity, and there for that much less likely of a one.

now anecdotally, my personal experience, is of yes, something big, friendly, invisible, gives great hugs.

but people who say its the top of some hierarchy, and condemns everything that doesn't kiss the ass of that, are making it up.

there may be this one thing that is more powerful then everything else, but the rest of it, is all guesses that people have said or written down.

but i do believe, this most powerful thing, whatever else its nature might be, has no wish to see us harmed, nor to see us harm each other.

again the idea that it might be somehow in conflict with other powerful, nonphysical forces, is something entirely people have come up with, for their own reasons, with no basis for doing so.

other spirit things, are as mostly harmless as we are ourselves. some quite friendly, well meaning and as helpful as is in their limited capacity to be.

not all of course, but still none as destructive as our own aggressiveness.

so yes, i believe there are spirit things, a few perhaps, far greater then ourselves. but i don't believe any of the major organized beliefs, like christianity, islam and so on, have even the right idea, let alone the details.

i don't believe there is anything infallable, nor that the most powerful, or any of them, micro-manages, hand crafts all the billions of life forms on all the billions of worlds that have life forms, is at war with anything, or is even likely to have the slightest desire to be worshiped.

i don't believe anything that would ever wish to be feared, can or should, ever be trusted. at all.

nothing has to be or not be. not even ourselves. and yet things do exist, and whatever they might happen to be, is whatever they may happen to be.

just that the more poeple insist on something, the less, not more, likely it is in detail to be.

we don't know what we don't know, but there is certainly more to be known then what we do.

if you climb a path that winds gently up the side of a mountain, you will have an easy down hill walk going home.

more then that, you will see more then any amount of words, will cause you to experience.

when people talk about gods, they are talking about their words for them.

no matter how many they say, they will learn no more about gods by saying them, nor by hearing others do so.

    Simple. One word. Agnostic.

Religion. A man made concept to control and rule the masses. Puh!

my believe is that humans don't know jack. i believe there are stranger things then anyone has ever imagined, and that whatever god or gods there might be, are among them.

people join believes, because their egos won't let them accept not knowing what is not known.
people create beliefs, to stop people from beating each other over the head, then people turn around and make of them excuses to keep doing so anyway.

I subscribe to the Shroud of Turin as being real. There is no technology even today that can reproduce it. The image can only be seen through a negative taken by a camera. The blood is real.

I also subscribe to UFO's...I've been within a hundred feet of one.

I also subscribe to Karma and reincarnation. What is not learned in this life will be taught in the next....or however long it takes.

Love, truth, wisdom, creation and power are positive energy.

Hate, destruction, ignorance and lies are negative energy.

Creation goes on for eternity....and therefore can afford to be patient for as long as it takes.

    Negative energy will destroy itself.

Atheist/agnostic. God probably doesn't exist. And if he/she/it does, we're never gonna know, unless he/she/it WANTS us to know. So there's no point in worrying about it.

i can go on for ever about what i believe and what i don't. i'm often tempted to do so.
because i do have beliefs, and their not summed up by tossing around some brand name flavor.

i believe there's more to everything then what we see when we look at it, but not in the need for anything to be infallible.
i believe there might be gods or a god, because we can never know the limits of what is able to exist, or even if there are any.
but i don't believe anything human really knows what they're talking about, when they claim to know anything about it.

I believe in a force like the one Yoda describes, a force that permeates us and everything around us. That being said the only thing I know for certain is I know nothing for certain so you could say I'm Jedi Agnostic haha. Buddhism makes alot of sense too and probably inspired George Lucas to create the whole Jedi thing in the first place.

I do not have any beliefs (religious) at the moment and I like it better that way. I used to be all into church and the whole "trying to keep up with all the other hypocritical dumb asses" thing. I call myself an atheist, but I guess technically you would consider a "strong agnostic". I attended an SBC church for years and tried to follow their bullshit and ways,,,etc ( and wondered what was "wrong" with ME). When I left my first wife and lived on my own for a few years.....I decided that I was through doing shit I didnt see any reason to continue doing....and life is a lot better. No one needs to spend their life worrying about:

    1. Something a "God" considers them "guilty" of because of something an obviously mythological "man" did ages ago (No human court will convict you for something someone ELSE did....even if they were your ancestor)
    2. Various harmless things that this religion considers "SINS" even if they harm no one!
    3. Reading the "right" books and watching the "right" films and TV shows,etc....and avoiding those called "wrong" or "sinful" by religion.

Everything boils down to mathematics. What is life? It's biology. What is biology? It's chemistry. What is chemistry? It's physics. What is physics? It is mathematics.

But sometimes a very unlikely abstraction, sometimes not the scenario a computer would choose based on odds but nevertheless what we feel in "our gut" or "our heart"

On another note most religions and philosophies have the "golden rule" at their core in some for or another:

    "

    What are your religous beliefs?"

Short answer: Religious Science (NO, NOT SCIENTOLOGY). A brand of Metaphysics which some would classify a Philosophy and not a Religion.
Was raised Roman Catholic. That in particular and Christianity in general never made sense to me. How could a Loving God ever be able to condemn Mankind? A God who was/is "All-Loving" wouldn't even know about starting a place called hell. Granted, we can make our own hells. That comes from within us, can't blame that on God.
Never bought the "infallible bible" crap, as in, "An eye for an eye" versus "Turn the other cheek" as a Perfect God does not change ITS mind.
"God, the father, " nah, a True God doesn't not have a sex nor gender identity, that's a totally man-mind concept.
"God, the son, the redeemer," Nope to that one too. Believe neither you nor I were ever condemned by the Loving God.
That concept is a great way to "Control the masses."
Thought I was the only one, was always on a Spiritual Quest. Then, I found the Spirituality for which I was always searching.
Opened my mind and found the answer right in front of me. Started reading books by Louise Hay. First time I read some of the things she said, I was "She's so wrong." More I read her, the more it made perfect and the only sense.
When I practice the principles of Religious Science, my Life works perfectly. It's a process, not an event. And I'm loving the process.

Mine's a bit complicated to explain. I do practice witchcraft but unlike other witches who believe in many higher goddesses, I only believe in a single supreme God. There's more to it than that but I really don't know how to explain it.

As far as deities go, I'm closest to agnostic.

As far as religion goes... it's not really organized, but I try to live a Taoist lifestyle with some Buddhist principles thrown in. I also consider myself to be a pagan, but not part of any specific branch of paganism, which I suppose would make me eclectic, but with a definite affinity for nature. Basically, I just subscribe to what feels right to me, and what helps makes me feel like I'm being the best person I can be. No, I don't think religion makes someone "good" or "bad" and a lot of times it can be more harmful than good, so it all depends on your life experience.

I also try to practice witchcraft, but not alongside religion, just on its own. I thought I would throw that in since some people include it.

I was actually raised to be a very strict Christian, though...

    Shamanic.

I don't believe in seperated experiences. We can merge mentally with any energy form. Somewhat buddhist in the view that the body/mind is a prison. I take what makes sense to me and either think about it (play) or I reject it and use that as a weapon.

I believe in the absolute, and that I am a demigod of one of them.
