Libertarian. I'd argue for an ultra minimal state - just a judicial system enforcing property rights. Everything else should be free, so people can choose to form whatever kind of communities they want under the same state. If you're a socialist, go live in a kibbutz.

'Revolution' will only come from within, internally. Politics is external... I sympathise with libertarian socialist views but I try my hardest to stay away from politics these days. It isn't the answer.

viscous independent. I support no one and believe that any one who is out to "save" me from anything is automatically dilussional, meglomaniac or psychotic. I do not need to be saved. I need no one's help. I do fine living by my own wits without the help of man or god.

seems to me being liberal would mean being against "political corectness." i would associate that nonsense with the democrat party, but in the true essence of the word liberal i would think you have the liberty to say what you mean and quit with the bullshit euphemisms.

the democrats give liberals a bad name with all their fucking safety and shit like banning smoking in private establishments.

I'm a republican. Heh, didn't see that one up there. I am one of the republicans who believes in shrinking some of the control of the government. I wouldn't consider myself a libertarian thou.

Isn't neo-conservative and libertarian(party) almost thesame? What's the difference? That neo-conservatives affiliate with the republican party?

I don't think one political system will ever work for everyone so I have different ones for different situations. I'm an anarchy-commune kinda guy. Apolitical as far as american politics go. I don't wanna be a slave!

In short neocons are extremely conservative on both social and economic areas.

Libertarians are conservative in economic reasons and liberal in social reasons. They are about as close to complete freedom and anarchy as you can get.

here in australia, we have the Liberal party which is our more conservative main party. the word liberal/liberty has different meanings depending on who wants to use it

as for placing yourself on these poitical charts, i think it is silly, people should have to place themselves on a scale, people can have specifically liberal or conservative values in different areas of politics, and simply being more inclined one way or another doesnt accurately relate people's views

I would consider myself a libertarian anarchist. I believe that every person owns themselves (no matter what race, sex, age, ect.) and should be free to do whatever he or she wants with his or her life, as long as he or she doesn't infringe upon the rights of others. The free market is the way individuals or communes interact, the free market meaning the voluntary exchange of whatever, whether it be ideas or things it doesn't matter. What matters the most from my point of view is that every action between people are voluntary. This would make me a radical liberal, depending on how you use the term "liberal".

BTW, classical liberalism is nearly the same as libertarianism, except some libertarians (like myself) are willing to take liberal philosophy to its logical end into anarchism.
