My Mum used to call dessert "Puds". That always killed me.

 

Here that's generally only an option, not the only way to go. But i see lots of people doing it already! Not me of course.

People who walk up to me at work while I'm busy and want to have a conversation. The general manager is the worst about it.

 

lol This has stopped now that I work from home. But, yea, in an office, that can be so annoying.

It tells me that they're not busy at all.

completely off topic, but is it harder to stay on task when you work from home? i just imagine myself being constantly distracted if i tried. i do have to do some work from home occasionally, and it seems like it takes me forever to get anything done, since every 5 minutes i'm wandering off to do some home activity. and on the other side of the spectrum, i could see myself getting distracted from my non-work time and wandering off to do work.

Gah!

It can be easy to get distracted but in this new job, I have a lot of deadlines and conf calls to be on throughout the day, so I have to force myself to stay on track. There’s pros and cons of course. I don’t miss the office gossip and the constant interruptions due to office drama. That is def a plus!

 

ha, yeah. as easy as it is to distract myself at home, at least there's nobody actively trying to distract me there.
