    The Get down _ Netflix just released the second part of season 1. The first part I thought was very true to the time and place (it chronicles the birth of hip hop in the Bronx). Second half is pissing me off, one of the main characters is supposed to be a rising disco star and yet her music sounds like Rihanna? And she dresses like a scantily clad modern pop star..and they use effects on her voice that I dont think existed in the 70s. Its really annoying. Decent show though
