I just finished reading "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" by Tom Wolfe. Now I'm sure that the majority of the older hippies will have read this book, but I recommend it to everyone! Read it and you will know if you truely want to be "on the bus".

No, not the same Alice. :D The book I was talking about is a pretty disturbing book about pedophilia. :(

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Another book about pedophilia. It's decent, but the main character pisses me off so much I sometimes want to put it down. He is the most manipulating, arrogant human being... And it's bad enough that he's feeling up a twelve year old, but christ, she's his stepdaughter.

Hey, The books pretty good so far. Its a book of five stories set from the 1960s to 1999 which are all linked. The stories all have to do with the sixties and have links with the vietnam war.

Hi All...new here. I read quite a bit. Just undertook DH Lawrence's- "Lady Chatterley's Lover." Decided a classic sounded like fun.

I'm reading 'steal this book' by abby hofman, of course a classic but still actual in many ways. And I always have 'the psychic vampire codex' by Michelle Belanger beside my bed to look up things. Juliet.
