I'm reading The Hobbit by JRR Tolkin, and it is awsome. I remember reading it when I was young, but now since I saw the lord of the rings, i needed to read it again. Plus, the lord of the rings are awsome as well.

I'm reading J.R.R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion. It's awesome so far, I love his writing! I don't care if it's one big history lesson, it's the best one I ever got since it's the history of Middle-Earth.

I'm now reading In My Sister's Country, by Lise Haines, and Holy Cow!, by Sarah Macdonald. Both the books are really good and I'm having a hard time choosing which one I should read first.

Right now I'm reading The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro, which is one of the most beautifully written books. It reads like poetry. I just finished this book taking the quantem leap by Dr. Fred Alan Wolf which was amazing. It makes you think a lot about the universe and what a vital role we all play in creating all of our individual realitys. The author of the book was interviewed in the movie what the $@#! do we know. I don't know if anyone has seen it, it was an inde fick in Oregon, but it's slowly making it's way back east. Both are wonderful books, also anything by Richard Brautigan or Kurt Vonnegut.

Absolutly incredible, but rather dense. Oh well, thats the McKenna boys for ya. If you can find the book, pick it up, its rather rare though. I couldn't find it at borders, had to go to Amazon.com Another good one by them is Food of the Gods. Check it out.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A FACE by Lucy Greely.
Autobiography about a 9-year old who gets cancer in her jaw and has 3/4 of her jaw removed. It tells about growing up looking abnormal. It's really sad. It was a summer reading recommendation for my school.
