I wish you could meet my best friend matt, you two would probably share similar philosophy.
He is a big thorsson fan, and actually teaches a long running weekly runesmith class down here. He is a great guy, very honorable.

He and I compare & contrast Germanic and Gaulish myth origins based on their Indo-European, Danube oriented tribal beginnings.

    FUN STUFF lol

Anyway, im reading Shadows in the Sun, a collection of anthropological essays about different indigenous people from around the world, for the eye of a spiritual, mystic anthropologist, rather than an ubber scientific one.

    Great read so far.

Also, at times, read the Art of Tracking by Tom Brown (is it TOm? cant remember) and of course i am almost always delved into a Celtic mythology collection.

That is a good book. Read it when i was 16 i think, needless to say, it inspired me to travel. A week after graduation, i was on a greyhound bus, seeing the country. Saw things i had never seen, being a small town country boy. Saw my first skylines, first homeless people, first rainbow flag, and had sex for the first time lol.

    that book changed my life.

The English - A Portrait of a People by Jeremy Paxman

Very witty and so 'us'. Just as well we English can laugh at ourselves - well some of us can.
