I've been listening mostly to classical,some good metal and old skool electronica recently.Most contemporary rock,pop and alternative isn't doing it for me recently.
The Blues Pills--"The Blues Pills" they're from Sweden I think they play a bluesy kinda psychedelic 70's inspired hard rock the singer is female and she's being compared to Janis Joplin without really sounding like her, she does sing with that kind of passion though. her band is totally simpatico with her too, you can hear them driving one another, feeding off each other this band doesn't sound like a new band, they play like old pros and sound very authentic one of the best CD's I've heard all year.
I'm paused on One for about two weeks now. Don't think I'll tune in to much else for the next month or so. I'm riding a death wave, don't know if it will take me into spontaneous, miraculous healing or if I'm fatefully bound to eventual self-deliverance.
