what i'm listning to when i'm on the net are usually ambient sounds like cooling fans, the house's hvac, the rail yard in the distance, and the rest of the usual things that go bump in the night.

when i'm not, and not doing something else on the computer that requires all of its bandwidth, it's a random sequence of the intentionally free gifts to everyone from the musicians who created them, mostly of the tecnoambient variety, like aeterna, numina, and rogue elements, for the more relatively current ones, but a reasonably fair diversity of mellowness beyond that as well, mostly but not entirely without vocals.
