There's nothing better than getting blazed and just sitting back listening to one of his solo riffs. It just puts you in a zone.

Truly. You can actually feel the emotion he put into it when you listen to him play. It will just draw you in. You don't even have to hear his voice.

 

i'll never forget the first time i heard him. driving around late one night on my paper route, on the classic rock station, and all along the watchtower came on. i was blown away...

 

The first time I heard him was when I was watching the Woodstock movie and I heard his rendition of the national anthem. I, too, was blown away.

Yeah. Fortunately, I can rent it in the video store and watch it over and over. It would have been nice to be there in person though. I would have consumed so much acid. I wish I was one of those labrats they test all of these psychedelic chemicals on. That would be nice. Maybe through reincarnation.
