Ohhh I bought 10 CDs from redrum the other day. Behemoth - Evangelion Suffocation - Suffocation Suffocation - live in quebec Therion - secret of the runes Deicide - once upon th cross Bathory - hammerheart Insect warfare - world extermination Origin - echoes of decimation Draconian - the burning halo Nile - illyphallic
As usual I like the older ones best. Therion started as a death metal band so I skipped that stuff myself. Can't say much insightful about those. Arab Zaraq contains covers and a bunch of tracks that was used as a filmscore or something, I really like the covers and I think you might too. Theli is one of the best examples for me of metal mixed with classical music. Much better than Metallica's S&M for example (easy in my opinion, sounds like crap to me) or most gothic bands who tried to mix this. I really recommend this album. Vovin is also a good one, and after that I can't really say much cause I lost interest in their direction. I bought Deggial on cd when it came out, it has a few highlights as well but overall I recommend especially Arab Zarag lucid dreaming, Theli and (if you dig even more classical influences) Vovin too.
The only album I don't really like is gothic kaballa. Sirius B took a while to enjoy, but son of the sun is worth it.
Dream Theater, a dramatic turn of events and boy do I regret that one. I should have got Symphony X iconoclast
