Had a couple friends over last night and had drinks and played games. It was a really good time. Too bad yesterday was a touch spoiled by son #1 sharting after out biking and #2 child smashed the back of his head on concrete which ended us up at Emerg. Blah! WE're all better today.

Today I have the hula hooping jam. I'm hoping it goes well. Hopefully the girls there are nice and friendly.

DV, we have our first jewelry making session next Wed. =)

And here is the first "official" hula hoop I made. I should have taken a second photo with it collapsed down. I will do that later I think.

lol!!! It happened while he was taking a pee at our house. It happened about 1 minuter after #2 hit his head and my hubby was out doing errands. He came home to me loading the two into the van to head to the hospital. It was a weird day. Poor little guy kept gagging too cuz he has a sensitive nose/stomach/gag reflex. Was grateful he didn't vomit on top of everything else.

    Fuck yes.

Today I was a productive Bean. Got up at 10ish, went into town at 11, got some sammich veg, bread and frooot, came home, started tidying mah room, went out again to get some plastic storage drawers, spent forever in Argos deciding which ones to get, got them, came back, had a BBQ, went for a walk, continued tidying, then started to plan my week. Literally only just sat down after all that xD Got so much stuff to take into uni tomorrow :( Someone come help me xD

hope it works out lux. i'm useless at booking tickets ahead of time. wish you could still just rock up to airports and buy standby tickets.

today i changed my avatar so that people will know that i am female. don't know why people assume otherwise. perhaps i type like a man? or perhaps people just assume that i'm male in the absence of any indication otherwise.

lol my avatar was just a smiley face. i'm not sure whether i assume people are male or not. obviously if someone has 'sarah' or 'mandy' in their profile name i assume they're female. or if they have a 'girly' avatar. like with long hair.

if your profile name was asexual i'd assume you were a guy because of your avatar having a beard.

Coming to see me for my birthday? :p

I do the male assumption thing too, I probably should know better seeing as how 80% of people on here are female.

Tried very hard to sleep today and failed. Also the tracking on the van is fucking miles out all of a sudden, dam potholes, I've half a mind to try and bill the council seeing as I know the bastard that probably did it.

find the potholes measure them and if they are depper than a certain size you can gain compensation (I think, also if you have proof you went over them)

    I had an amazing weekend.
Saturday...got more tattoo work done..will post pics soon once the redness goes away.
Then I went to Oakland and saw the Avett Brothers and Truth salvage Co. *Swoooooon* I talked Glenn into going with me...he was very hesitant because he generally only listens to reggae. lol But I like to think my hotness persuaded him into going...cuz it's like a spell. lol. wtf am I talking about? I dunno. Anyways....it was soooo much fun. There music is so bouncy...I bounced all over the place. Then I had to work a 12 hour shift on Sunday which kinda blowed. I had to go to a mormon church for three hours which was odd.....Ive never been in the presence of such disillusioned people before in my life! They all had 5+ kids.
Anyways....I had a bit of a revelation....Ive been pursuing becoming a teacher for quite some time now and am currently 30,000 in debt to student loans! If I keep on going at it...by the time I get my masters to teach I'll be around 70,000 in debt. The whole point of me pursuing a higher education was to make my future easier on me and for my daughter....but I dont see how thats gonna happen with a 70,000 dollar debt hanging over my head once Im thrown out into the proffessional world. So...Ive decided to drop out and pursue my second passion which is massage therapy and yoga. Yep. Today Im enrolling at a massage therapy institute...once I get that rolling there is an awesome yoga teacher program in San Francisco that Im gonna go through. Im really happy about my decsion. As a yoga teacher I'll be getting paid to pursue the spiritual and as a massage therapist I can help aleeve people of their pain and discomfort.......awesomeness. AND NO MORE COLLEGE FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!! =] Oh and it's waaaaaaay cheaper!

awesome mandy. just keep in mind that massage therapy is like a sport, if you get injured or old you don't work. massage therapy is a temporary vocation for most therapist i know. i'd say i know at least 50. how much longer do you have to finish your degree? also, most clinics are small and privately owned which translates to no benefits, sick days, paid vacations etc. plus, you will still have to pay off your existing loans and do continuing education courses (which cost money) in order to maintain you LBMT.

today, i am struggling to find a way to eat.
