i'm enjoying the fact that the sun is shining today - we've had a pretty grey week so far, so this is nice, and i know i should totally take advantage of it while it's here, before winter takes proper hold and it's grey outside every day, so i'm about to have a nice walk down the road to a friend's place, hopefully go out for a coffee or some such before i head down the the docklands to do an activation ceremony for a mandala space at every picture tells a story festival (which is on tomorrow! woop woop! www.everypicturetellsastory.com.au if you're curious)

have no motivation to edit my documentary which suck cause i was really enjoying making it

 

Today is busy. Going to buy a van load of tubing for hula hoops... not sure how much total yet, but I'm guessing 200 feet. Got a naturopath apt for the biggest little dude this afternoon. THen tonight I'm meeting with a girlfriend and we're putting our plan together for vending a the market this summer. She has tons of jewelry making stuff so we're doing making bracelets, etc and doing hula hoops. She's done it before so we're just making sure it's ready to go. FUN FUN FUN!!

It's gonna be a high of around 20C so I imagine this afternoon will be spent outside enjoying that. =)

 

Oh.. and round bums typically mean a person is in good health/shape. =)

My last day at home before I go back to uni has been spent packing stuff up and converting some old jeans into skirts, one of which I think I will wear tonight with the new boots. I am seeing some people from college who moved too far away, who are back in ttoowwnnnn. Goin' t' pob

But I did pick up a friend and drive to our spot to have a smoke and a chat. And in a couple of hours I am going to the pub to have a couple of drinks with another friend.

 

Tonight I'll be sippin back a few cold brewdogs watching some hockey. Probably read/write some poetry afterwards.

 

mandy, you are like superwoman! i don't know where you find the time to not only raise a kid, but do it WELL, have a job, study, be in a relationship, AND make home-cooked dinners and be fit and healthy. you're embarrassing me.

Yup. I used to years ago, but just getting back into it. Also gonna be makign jewelry... I will be channeling the creative vibes of all the forum members as I have no creative skillz. lol!

 

I was in all day today, trying to get this ear infection sorted. I think it should go by Monday. But, I did some reading and a lot of thinking. So I don't count it as a wasted day

 

i discovered that weed makes a great fever reducer, much to my relief and surprise.

 

The work week has finally caught up to me and I am exhausted. I had tickets to go see the dead sea scrolls on exhibit tonight at a local musuem but bailed and opted to stay in instead. My daughter and I watched silly youtube videos and then hooped...then we made dinner and lazed around watching Disney. Now Im about to put her to bed and do more homework. bleh.

Last night my friend took me through her jewelry making collection. I kept thinking of DV and smelly. She has everything that it seems a jewelry maker could ever want. Only thing missing is a kiln and pottery wheel but she has access to those at school. So basically, I get to make jewelry, she sells me the stuff at cost and anything we sell, I get the profits. In exchange, she gets company/friendship while we do it. Holy shit! Now I'm overwhelmed with options on what to create. Gonna start with some wire necklaces and earrings with beads of some sort on them. Holy Smokies!!

Today we have an open house and I need to go shopping for hooping material for the hoop jam tomorrow. Good times! =) Oh, and a bbq with friends at our place this evening. Busy!!!

Edit: And today I went to a lampworking convention/show thing and it was awesome Spent lots of mine and my dad's money on tools and sexy glass. And I accidently found an awesome new effect!!! Sooooo excited to get back into uni on mondaayyyy

So I was just sitting here listening to music and I got a call on my phone from a number I didn't know, and I answered it and it was a group of random girls from my school that somehow acquired my number.

This has happened several times this year 0.0
random people from school calling me, leaving me confused as to how they got my number....

I mean, I know them, but...... it's still weird.
