Lets see...I went to work, picked up the lil one from school, got a drug test and fingerprints done for new side job, Went out to lunch, Gave my cat and dog a bath...my cat tore up my shirt and arms =[ , helped lil one with homework, packed some more, put dinner in the oven, started laundry, and am now waiting for dinner to finish!

    Haha

I got no idea where people get info like that. What sucks is she came off like she was a "dread professional."

it seems everyone knows someone with dread that put crazy shit in em.

currently im trying to wake up i passed out on the couch again while watching the food network. my hair is going nuts its pretty entertaining. Mom is getting bitched out by our ex-landlord because of the condition her room and bathroom are in at the old house. all i can say is i told her so. I tried to clean up after her so many times that it just got pointless so now she has to face reality. only thing left to do in my old room is vacuum. im guessing today is going to be hellish. and currently im stuck at the new house because mom took my car and hers has barely any breaks so i cant go over there and fix the situation. guess ill just sit here and figure out where to put all my stuff that i need to unpack.

Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. My oldest son was running outside beside the fence and he hit the for sales sign... His beautiful face has three cuts. Two are minor, but the third is about two inches wide and half an inch in width. There are no stitches but the doc believes it's going to leave a scar... And I know it is going to as well. I'm so sad. :( :( My baby's perfect face. He was so brave though. Gawd.

honestly it will be ok dm scars are going to happen especially on boys my 5 uncles have had over 600 stiches each and they look fine. scars are also stories to tell your own kids. personally im proud of my scars.

sorry if that hurts your feelings but its how i feel and plus they have cream now to reduce scaring

Ya, I do find it a bit heartless. I watched my baby hurt and go through lots of pain yesterday. Nothing hurts more than watching your baby hurt and there is nothing you can do to help them.

sorry i hurt your feelings but honestly kids get hurt its what happens

guess down here its just considered normal for a kid to get hurt its how they learn its how they develop their sense of danger

when my fiance was a kid his parents would warn him once then if he went and did it anyways and got hurt they would take him to the doctor but once he got healed he would be in a world of trouble

and ill more than likely be the same way with my kids

but kids also sense the parents being scared and upset and a lot of times that can make it worse for the kid

guess what im trying to say is boys will be boys

I've had a scar in the middle of my forehead my entire life (busted it open on a rock when I was 1-2). It's no biggie. Caring about your child who is in pain is one thing, thinking that they've destroyed their "perfect face" is a little over the top though.

I'm confused how I went over the top. Truly. The fact that I'm sad that my child has a big open cut on his face. I mean... I think it would awful if I didn't feel this way. What kind of a parent doesn't empathize with their child? I guess I posted on a public forum so I put myself out there.

It's ok though. I put out enough positive vibes in my life and on here that I'm not gonna let your negative posts bring me down. I know the parents out there will completely relate with me.

you went over the top by saying he ruined his perfect face

nothing in this world is perfect

and feeling bad about your kid getting hurt is normal but you cant let it ruin your day

and my way of comforting people tends to upset them i just try to put the situation in perspective for them

I know where ya comin from, well kinda. I don't have any kids but one time I was hanging out with my little brother, doin the whole babysitting thing. He was hittin golf balls into this net and he hit a really really bad shot. Instead of hitting the net, he hit this brick that was holding the net down. The golf ball came back and nailed him in the mouth. His braces had cut through his cheek. I freaked out, like a full on panic like Godzilla was attacking. He was trying to be all tough n stuff. I felt like shit for the next few days and he obviously felt a lot worse He had a ton of stitches in the inside of his cheek.

I mean, see'ing him fall off the trampoline will always be hilarious, but see'ing his face like that was brutal. I don't ever wanna see the lil guy go through pain like that.

But don't stress it too much lady, I'm sure he'll be back too 100% in no time.

Thank you Ahmad Rashad - It's heartbreaking when it happens. :( And there is nothing you can do.. it's only an instant in time.

Thanks DV. He is four... so it adds a whole new element. I have to explain why he can't do things, etc. There is a flap of skin that needs to stay in place or else it will result in more scaring and pain. So he is not allowed to be playing like he normally does. We're not even allowed to put any dressing on it to stop any accidents from happening.

As for using the words destroyed and ruined... those are words that afoolonahill and dreadedsunflower used. Not me.

well i offer a full apology
the way you worded it sounded to me as if you were more worried about his looks than his injuries
