I just woke up from a nap and got the shit confused out of me by my clocks, half say one time and half say another. Turns out today is the 'spring foreward' part of daylight savings time and I didn't know. At least I think it is.

What the fuck, Do you know how confusing it is going to sleep at 5:00 and waking up at 4:45?!?!

Either that or I just need more sleep.

I thought the same thing and had to google ours!

Although I know the date now, I'll completely forget when it comes to it.

Why can't they just leave the time alone. I am perfectly happy with it being 10pm right now.

I don't get it. Why do people say it's bullshit? I know it's to help farmers or whatever but I can't find out why it's bullshit, google doesn't help me.

    DO NOT GET

Here daylight starts at like 4.30am so that's 3n a half hours of daylight already if you say start work at 8am then when you get home at 5pm sun goes down somewhere between 10 and 11 so that's like a further six hours

How does one add daylight hours? Do they threaten the sun or something? "HEY YOU BASTARD SUN GIVE MOAR HOURS NOW" *Sun gets scared therefore shits rays of sunlight*

So far I'm getting that Churchill was all "get up earlier go to bed earlier you naughty men and women" Oh right okay then.

they made it that way so they could work people longer and make them feel like they hadn't worked any longer

Think about it this way. If you get off of work at 5 and the sun goes down at 6, then you push all the clocks forward: you still get off work at 5, but the sun goes down at 7. (and you have to get up an hour earlier because you still start at 9 which used to be 8)

i love daylight savings! i'd much prefer a few extra hours of light in the evening during summertime <3

i just woke up after an epic 14 hour long sleep.... mmmmm~! could still sleep more though, had an amazing and wonderful and sleep deprived time out in the bush for my friend nay's birthday on saturday night and all of sunday - big ass sound system... chunky tunes.. rad people...... AMAZING landscape and a sunset that turned the sky fluoro pink, red and purple last night <3 <3 <3
also, came back from the party with way more stuff that i started with due to some lovely people who gifted me throughout the day - got a purple mesh curtain with some seriously twisted looking skulls sprayed on it, handmade by my friend cath, a HUGE piece of milky and rose quartz that my friend rory found on his travels down from cairnes last year, a pair of seriously gangsta looking sunnies from my mate luke and the cutest pixie vest made by nay that samwise bought for me
feeling incredibly loved and lucky seeeing as it wasn't even my birthday!

I'd like more than a vest from samwise.

Oh sorry, that was meant to be a private thought.
