Never depressing, flattering you feel you can speak to people here about your problems. You were really nice to me the other day when I mentioned my grandparents, so it's the least I could ever do.

And you always send positivity each persons way, so no one finds it a burden or depressing and I think we are all happy to try and help!

So sorry to hear Chemigals. I would try not to worry at all about your dad it's true that if found early those types of cancers are extremely responsive to early treatment.

It doesn't neccessarily enhance your risk of cancer as they are both male and female cancers. I would only worry if two or more immediate female family members had cancer.

My mom's friend was recently diagnosed with some sort of brain tumors/cancer. she just recently had a major operation on her brain and she is going to start chemo soon, but damn... she has such an awesome attitude about the whole thing. I don't know much about cancer, but I think that kind of attitude definitely can make or break such a massive recovery effort.

 

HDH I think Im just over-reacting,just got a bit worried bout the whole thing I think I heard the word cancer and freaked out.Ive been doing some reading and the outlook so very good so I feel really positive for him,Im so glad he went to the docs when he did and did'nt leave it any longer.Its probably the most sensible thing hes done in his life

Pandy I agree about having a positive attitude,your mums friend is so brave,I wish her a healthy recovery

I don't know what my dads getting, but yesterday he was talking about something with planets on his shoulder blade. He drew up a really cool thing years ago, it was SNR (as in Sarah, Nicholas, and Ryan, his kids) written as what I guess would be a palindrome, it reads the same way when you turn it or flip it, it was really cool... But! He has one more kid since them and we couldn't figure out a good way to fit a 'C' in there. But I'm not sure what he's getting

LOL I'm dyeing my hair tooooo. Sat with a bag on my head. Had a genius idea to dip my dreads in it so the dye saturate's my dreadlocks. Hopefully when I take the bag off my head tomorrow and rinse I'll have gorgeous red dreads.
