I get what you are saying mandy. =) My cousin is on her 3rd attempt with dreads in the matter of a few months. They never look "right" to her. I have on idea how she's enjoying this 3rd attempt... I'm gonna ask her and find out. But I would have thought after I had advised against beeswax and they used it... and she had ot get it all out cuz it made her hair gross... she maybe would have taken some advice from me? lol

Today I woke up at 5:20. I cant' lseep in anymore nad I hate it. I laid in bed for an hour and finally got up to waste the rest of my kids lseep time online hooo hummm..

My daughter yammied this morning but then seemed okay afterwards. So I tried to take her to run some errands with me. We made it to Target and then she puked in the parking lot. Ooops. Looks like Im home for the rest of the day. Its sooo hard cuz the sun is shining so bright! I just wanna got play down by the river!

I have been watching Lost all day. Just started watching it for the first time, Im in the middle of season 1. I do not generally watch TV but holy shit this show is so good how have I missed 6 seasons!?

 

Season one was addicting I will admit, I got through half of the second and it got tooo crazy. I watched season one consecutively, fun.


Also Mandy, I've seen necklaces like those all over etsy, I love them! Octopuses are one of my favorite

 

Lost is uber addicting. I truly believe it has made tv smarter. =)

 

I watched series 1, then sorta lost track of 2 cus it got a later showing time... then it got silly. I couldn't be bothered to wait a week to see what happened, I don't like stomach-turning-off-of-your-seat-omg-whats-gonna-happen shit. So gave up... I just read the spoilers and it sounds shit. A polar bear?! Fucking dimension swapping?! It all went downhill after the writers strike. Too many writers with too many different ideas... Messy. It just got too messy for me.

I'm gonna watch Team America or NCIS and knit mah beearr

add me to the list of people who gave up on lost 1/2 way through season 2. Id like to watch it all but it's quite a significant investment of time considering how rapidly it was appearing to go down hill. I heard there was supposed to be a stranglet embedded in the island or something, I'd love to know how they hand-waved past the physics of that one.

 

Um... it's SCI FI guys. Not going to get definitive answers explained by phsyics.. unless of course the writers of lost figured out time travel before anyone else. lol

It's one of the few tv shows I watch. I can't bare to watch dead people on tv so that eliminates all of the CSI's, etc, and I don't like being scared... so I have a very narrow margin for what I can watch.

Seriously, you guys gave up on Lost? That really does make me sad. They played a lot with various formats throughout all of the seasons... always kept you on your toes. Yup, addict here. =)
