Something totally awesome happened to me today. :D

I went at work like usual, not so enthousiast but still. At my lunch I noticed someone tried to call me on my cell and left a message, so I listened to it promptly. It was a woman from one of my company's competitors calling me back regarding the meeting we had last week. She's really interested about me joining their team and I could feel it, so I was super harsh when negociating my salary and such. At some point I thought I exagerated and she wouldn't call me back, but I kept going and now I'm damn glad I did. She made me a generous offer I couldn't refuse, like all I asked for plus a few bonuses. It means a LOT more money to spoil myself, my man, my friends and family, and I'll finally be able to make one of my dreams come true: have my own house. I'm so excited!!!! I can't stop smiling.

    :D :D :D

i have pretty much the same camera as you. i had to look for the non-US name for the camera to figure that out though lol. you'll have to tell me how the new lens works out for you. the longest zoom i have atm is 70mm and i'm looking at getting something for longer shots. i'm mostly interested in portraiture so a long lens isn't that big of a deal for me, but they're handy as heck when you're traveling.

i think pixar was onto something great pretty much until they hooked up with disney. i'm not against cgi, but i do have a problem with it when it's the ONLY thing that a film has going for it. what ever happened to kids films having actual storylines? wall-e was a freaking brilliant character but what the hell was that story about? it was so crap i almost cried.

    and yeah, studio ghibli ftw.

I only type Rebel Xti coz my Zero button doesn't work on this laptop. But It does say Rebel Xti on the camera instead of eos4--D. I'll definately get back to you with how it works for me. Apparently for the price and size it's an awesome lens. Which is great on my teeny tiny hands.

CCD's are for n00bs, silver halide is where shits at.

Broke the fucking balls out my PC today, nuked the mobo while pissing about with USB headers. Got a nice new one that is better but I couldn't find my vista 64 disk so im running a evaluation copy of win 7 (32 horrible horrible bits) I'll hit TPB isohunting in a bit but I have to make the thing tollerable first incase I have to live with it for a few days.
