I unsuccesfully bleached some of my hair.
I chickened out and washed the bleach out too soon, resulting in a light brown.
oh well, shall try again another day.
Now I am about to fix dinner and smoke a bowl.
    =)

Me and my hubby where a reck this morning, I went and saw my psychiatrist and I am on a week leave from everything to Grieve, i feel i will be better once I get her little ashes. I just need to take it day by day. I also got some meds to help me from going through Panic Attacks, its helping me to eat and I was able to nap. Thank you for asking Daisy, sometimes it feels good to let it out. I am happy your nephew is okay.

I helped this lady with her dreads today, holy god she'd made a wreck of them. super short loose hairs and some of the poor dreads hanging on my strands at the roots, so I wove the short hairs into the thin locks and saved them, hooray!

Sorry about all this bad news, fuck this thread took a depressing turn.

i feel like disney has kinda sucked ever since aladdin. the lion king was really the last great disney film. although up was pretty good. but they have made a LOT of bad films in recent years.

so classic disney, yes. new disney, no bueno.

I have a rebel XTi and I bought a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Telephoto. Now won't have endless disappointment with the 18-55mm kit lens.

I agree with Disney. I hate all this digital animation shit. Give me the days were they were hand drawn with love. There have been a few good films after Aladdin such as Mulan :D

Nah ... Madagascar by DreamWorks Animation does the job.

It was in cinemas in 2005 during the same period that the London tube and bus bombings took place. Heavy, I was in the first train to enter Kings Cross station after the one that got bombed. Man, alarms were going, people were running around in hysteria and the train I was on stopped at the platform, doors didn't open, people on the platform were freaking to get on and after about 30 seconds the train rode on again. The driver announced that the train had to carry on due to an electrical surge.

When I got in at work I started a usual day and then after about 20 minutes started noticing that there weren't that many people pitching up. Cut a long story short, the stations had been closed just after I got off the train, buses had been stopped, London came to a stop. Those of us that were in the office switched one of the screens onto BBC News, only to find out what had been happening ... then 45 minutes later another bus was bombed and it was about 2 hours later that another one again.

London literally shut down, for the day, no public transport, land and mobile phone lines were jammed, internet congested ... making it impossible for people to communicate. That had to be one of the most frightening days of my life. The one Bro that worked in the same building I did lost both his legs from being on one of the targeted buses ...

Anyway, the point is that I got a dodge copy of Madagascar from one of the local homies around where I lived, and for the next 5 weeks or so, it was all I could watch, I wasn't interested in anything else, no drama, no action, no violence, nothing intense, just Madagascar ... and a good section of herb.

    One Love!

Dreamworks are more preferable over Pixar. Even so, I hate how most of their films are CGI. They've done the Princess and the Frog all painted animation. It hasn't done too well at the box office unlike the CGI crap Disney offers at the moment. I think eventually Disney will lose touch with their values. Kids don't know shit these days. Studio Ghibli is where it's at. They don't need this CGI shiz.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the bombings. I'm glad you're safe. I wish the media would be dignified and stop trying to turn it into "Britain's own 9/11"

Thanks Sister, but in all fairness, nothing happened to me or my queen, so we were both very fortunate on the day ... unlike so many other people that were actual victims.

I'm not sure what to make of the whole '"Britain's own 9/11" aspect.

On the one hand the average person in London was so freaked on the day, that it shouldn’t really be seen as a day of national unity, to be honest, there wasn't much feeling of a connection to a wider whole, it was very isolating, like an entire city can just be cut off from it's own country, even the rest of the world.

On the other hand, well it played it's part in strengthening the war on terror alliance between the UK and US, so in this sense the bombings in London may have been local at first but became national afterwards.

    Anyway ...

    Jah Guide!

M'yeah I just don't like how they refer to it as 7/7 it's like they're competing dare I say it. Well... That's how it comes across to me anyway. I think it'd be more respectful if they just called it the London Bombings like everyone else.
