i have a bangin' old 1930's typewriter stored in a cupboard in australia. it's a lot of fun to write on. i use it to write letters to people and stuffs. once got home from a night out clubbing, coming down from pills, got home and couldn't sleep for the buzz. so i took my typewriter down the road to the playground and sat in the middle of the park tapping away. it echoed around the whole neighbourhood. very cool.

but yeah, I used to love that thing. I think itd be nice to have one, you gotta think before you write yet it's something between longhand and computers, I don't know, but I want one.

 

sometimes i go into Boston, where i used to attend college, and i'll see classmates or friends from my Northeastern days. i'm really indifferent to that whole experience now, but at the time when i left it was characterized by great animosity. so i gave a few guys the head nod and i had a short chat with some girls. the head nod is the best way to reconnect with old acquaintances.


fuck it, i'm going to the gym before it closes. this storm has kept me inside all day. i have some serious seasonal affective disorder. the winter fucks with me mental state. fuck the winter.
