What are you/have you been doing today?

Find something really simply shaped, and paint that. The more complex your first painting, the less you'll be satisfied with the results. Both acrylics and oils require an underpainting, which is like a first layer. Just have fun, and be sure to post your results!

 

I started out painting bird houses, simple designs and then the designs got more complex. I still love painting wood but right now I'm painting on canvas. I guess I will try to master oils someday but with what I'm doing right now I like the look of acrylics..

 

Yesterday I made a mug for my bf and today I made one for my dad I like making mugs ^^ I don't throw them (but will be doing soon!!), I hand build them God I LOVE CLAY XD Does anyone wanna buy a mug?! XD When I gets my babeh kiln ups and cool runnings (lol ceramic joke there *lols to self*)

Took the kiddos to a couple second hand stores then went to Chapters (bookstore). While there I picked up a couple books about dogs and sat next to the Thomas the Train station they have set up for kids to play with. All was going well... until I looked up and there was my two year old and another girl standing in a giant puddle. But in the middle of the store? Yup, my asshole kid pissed himself right there. I had taken him to the potty about five minutes before he let loose.

I was so embarrassed that we left immediately and I left the puddle there.

Just got finished eating dinner (a shared plate with my almost 2 yr old). My 4 year old is passed out on the couch not feeling so well, her 4th unintentional nap today. Hubster should be home any time now from work (hopefully soon). I am back on the hunt for a name for our third little girl due in October.

 

I'm posting here to increment my post count by 1 because i am catholic and thus bothered by certain numbers.

 

today was hair washing day. thank god!

And I did nothing, Im grounded. Ive been bored out of my mind so Im just posting on hipforums all day.

 

SO after doing those prom pictures for a friend last week, some other friends have decided to ask me if I would be interested in doing their wedding pictures because they were so in love with the photos I had took. I'm pretty blown away that they would ask me. eee exciting.

The dog's mom was a Maremma Sheepdog that was "violated" by a rottie/collie cross. lol After this accident they were purposely bred for a few litters cuz the babies were so divine.

It's hind is about 29 inches high. HUGE!! I felt so blessed that we were chosen for his new owners (he's three). The previous owner said that she knew it would be a good fit when I called and asked about Roman and not "the dog they had to give away".

hung out with my sister and cousin, went out to eat with my mom and my sister, played a little basketball by myself, mowed my lawn, sat at the computer way too long as usual

 

Yeah I am. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm flattered they asked me but I just hope I do them justice. It's a lot of pressure considering I've never done anything like this before and I only get one shot at getting it right + all the family that will be around. I think in the end it will be fun & a really good experience. One more piece for the portfolio
