Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news, but you have posted the 1001st post.

 

last night had some canadian whisky (nothing fancy...seagrams vo)

also i had heard several times before of the magic hat brewery and heard mostly good things, but had not seen it in the area until very recently it has appeared in many stores around here, including grocery stores, with "now available" signs and the like...i assume it was just recently distributed to ohio. so i blindly picked out a sixpack not knowing anything about what they do well. ended up taking the #9 "not quite pale ale"

the labeling is misleading in my opinion. since its a fruit beer (made with apricot, this wasn't apparent at first but upon searching i did find it on the label) it isn't a pale ale, but appart from a fruit flavor, it would otherwise be fully qualified as a pale ale. however i thought the repeated phrase "not quite pale ale" meant the ale was not quite pale, rather than it doesnt quite (but almost does) count as a pale ale. plenty of mild hop bitterness and a light golden/amber color....but only very slightly fruity from the apricots, and indeed very refreshing. it was tasty and i'd drink it again, but fruit beers aren't always my thing. if i'm in the mood for something unique, i'll get this again. all in all it wasn't breathtaking, though.

 

I'm drinking Kumala Zenith wine tonight, a full bodied, deep flavoured little number, quite nice !!!!

well, i've got a new bottle of cabo wabo reposado, but i'm trying to make it last since thats some expensive liquor http://randalls.stores.yahoo.net/ra105.html (though i got a much better price than that, the price quoted isn't unheard of)

i also have some ginger ale and an unopened bottle of gordons vodka, and i do love some vodka and ginger ale....also have vermouth, and vodka martinis are pretty tasty, as well.

finally i've got a big bottle of biere de mars by jolly pumpkin artisinal ales....never had a biere de mars before, i'm excited by the prospect and probably will have it tonight, though i may go more for the ginger ale and vodka.

either way i've got good drinks lined up for tonight but have plenty to choose from and wont take all...

I felt like trying some lighter beers today... It was bloody hot here and they all really hit the spot. None of them are available in my area either so it was fun to try them all. They were:

Victory Prima Pils
Rogue Über Pilsner
Bells Oberon
Czechvar

They were all very refreshing... Oh, and a few days ago I cracked open a can of Surly Furious. It was so delicious. An awesome IPA. Damn, I could sure go for a Surly Furious with this weather... But it's getting late... that and I only had one can .

I am drinking...and everyone else should drink...a Charlie Murphy. Made by my friends it consists of 2 shot of coconut rum, 4 shots of tequila, fill the rest of the glass with OJ. It is EVERY VERY VERY good. Use a BIG glass and it will be one of the best drinks you have ever had.

today after work i had a miniature vodka martini.

tonight i'll probably have vodka and gingerale and a normal sized martini. quite possibly a bit of cabo wabo, neat.

 

Tonight some IPA while camping, once my other drugs start to fade. I have 2 hits of LSD approximatley 100 mics each, one 1/8 of magic mushrooms, and 2 60mg MS Contin (Morphine). I havent tripped on LSD in nearly 3 years, I ate some mushrooms a few weeks ago, but before that it had been nearly 2 years

i'm really hoping that i can find some sort of good psychedelic around when i get my tax refund. hopefully DMT (but not likely) or some good RC like DPT, with which i could make a mock-ayahuasca with the syrian rue seeds i have.

but then i could do the same with some mushrooms, or even just simply eat a quarter of mushrooms instead, and enjoy a bulb or two of nitrous oxide...

its been a while since i've tripped, and i'm ready to do it again. i'd love some LSD, but i've never gotten potent enough blotter to be worth the outrageous price.

i really wish i hadn't spent the money on my cabo wabo, but i'm enjoying the hell out of it. still, i could have spent ten bucks or so less on a less expensive bottle of good tequila...

or i could have just gotten stuff for margaritas for a measly 15 bucks, or a sixpack of negra modelo....i dunno....

but yeah....damn...corona....

 

LOL, good luck! I wish I had shrooms. I'm gonna be tearin it up for a week and a half in Boston and then Vegas and I defiently need some shrooms, especially going to vegas for the first time. Don't worry I won't be walkin the streets of vegas on shrooms with a large entourage lol. I am gonna be wasted on all sorts of things for that week and a half...rum and coke, jack and coke, tequila sunrise, charlie murphy, good vermont beer, congac, and some corona (which i like on a nice sunny warm day with a lime).
