I am drinking Moonglow Weizenbock by Victory Brewing tonight! A very nice beer and rather potent, too at 8.7% ABV!

I'm gonna be drinking about 60ml of Tussionex, which is equal to 120mg of hydrocodone. Much better than most of the drinks being discussed on this thread, IMO. Warm, glowing intoxication for 15+ hours......can't beat that.

I'm not generally a fan of the Flying Dog brews, but I picked up some of their Gonzo Imperial Porter(9.2%) and am quite impressed. Also a couple Sierra Nevada Celebration Ales (not bad, not mind-blowing). Wishing for some Gulden Draak or Piraat Ale, however.

last night i enjoyed two celebrator doppelbocks (tremendous!) a big bottle of ommegang's three philosophers blended ale (a strong belgian-style ale blended with lindeman's kriek lambic) and both are among my favorites now....both absolutely stellar drinks.

i also had a bass ale....

    tonight....celebrator and probably dortmunder gold

well, i've got enough for a glass of scotch....but i wont drink it tonight. i've also got one more celebrator and one more dortmunder gold, possibly i'll drink one of those tonight. i'll probably stick with some really cheap beer (stroh's...super cheap but still better than bud light or high life, in my opinion....15pk for like 8 bucks is damn affordable, though...)

so thats it probably. some water, too. i'll enjoy a nice cheap cigar with my nice cheap beers (a punch elite maduro, $37 for a box of 25) :p

    lame poor old nesta...

Gin and tonics with Bombay Saphire. I'm normally a beer drinker, but I polished off a bottle of rum this week and have had less than six beers since last Sunday.

bombay sapphire is great - i like it with sparkling water (san pellegrino is my water of choice but others will work fine, even cheaper stuff like canada dry soda water) and lime slices on the rocks....

what kind of rum did you have?

my favorite rums would have to be bacardi 8, pyrat XO, and sailor jerry's spiced navy rum.....

honestly i'm not minding the strohs i've been drinking the past few days. as far as macrobrewed beer is concerned, i definitely think its close to the best. still a mediocre and light bodied "swill beer," but one thats not so offensive to my sensibilities as to be undrinkable....its refreshing and actually kind of tasty. i'm fine with drinking this, gennessee and PBR from time to time.....i mean hell...they beat bud and miller products and are cheaper, to boot.
