what are you drinking tonight?

good day today! went shooting with my buddy (just got a new pistol, his first now that he's 21....waiting period....like 15 minutes......he got a taurus .380) then went to my parents' house...split a bottle o' maudite with the pops, now i'm working on a sierra nevada pale ale....probably my last drink as i have to work in the morning.

actually i had a hell of a lot of fun at the shooting range! i'd never used a handgun before, its a trip! not used to guns you dont have to reload for every shot.... never got the hang of loading the clip, though, too tough. guess i'd learn if i owned my own, but its not like i need to spend the money on an expensive gun like that.

anyway, i had a pretty good day overall, and now that the fun but dangerous part is over, i can enjoy some nice beers

 

currently my first bevarage of the evening (and i'm freaking nursing it), and it's weihenstephaner heffe weisse.....

will crack open the last bottle of delirium noel i purchased in august...but two out of three bottles have contained such incredibly heavy sediment as to have a literally chunky appearance toward the bottom of the bottle....we'll see if this is good to drink, i dont have severely high hopes of getting more than maybe one glass' worth out of the 22oz bottle

possibly asti, amaretto, or wine as well. who knows......

but regardless of what i drink, it wont be in great quantity, as i have to work at 9:30 tomorrow morning (presents after work this year...its gonna be cool though, i can use some time and a half!)

 

Goose and Dew, she wants me babe!

My friend is coming over with a case of some mix, I already forget the brewer, aqnd some new invention whiskey drink he just made, I will let it be known when I find out (again) what it is.

 

tonight its going to be a glass of macallan 12 year single malt and a nice old ashton virgin sun grown (the amazing plume on the cigar would suggest some serious aging....its gorgeous!)

 

I just picked up another 12-pack of 211 Steel Reserve for $6. I fully intend for all of them to be gone by morning time. It's gonna be a nasty, nasty, nasty job, but someone has to do it

 

ive had two shots of jerry and a small amount of macallan 12yr on the rocks with my cigar...still smoking, a couple sips of whisky left....very slightly high, too.....tonights rather blissful, really, even though its cold outside!

Alright, I finally figured out that Lagunitas Brown Sugga is seasonal (I think Im right, right?) so I grabbed 2 of them mo fuggers, very excited about that, plus I grabbed a 22 of Rogue's Red Ale (Have to, it's my favorite) and some weird bottle of a cream stout, I have it in the car so I will update with which one it is, I havent had a cream stout in a minute, and the few that I had I wasn't too crazy about, but that was a while ago so things may have changed

 

I got five bottles of absinthe shipped from Germany. They arrived on Christmas morning, delivered by a mailman in a Santa suit. I am sampling Absinthe Des Alpes and Absinthe Huguet this evening.

good choice, pilsner urquell is probably my all time favorite lager

Looks like Sake, another Urquell, one last Olde School, and maybe some Coronas. I never had Sake so this should be fun And I wish Ihad some Goose left, but I drank it all last night.

 

Last night I swallowed 25mg of vicodin with 95mg of liquid hydrocodone and am still feeling it.......that's a helluva drink. I haven't slept for about 32 hours now and I will probably end up drinking some absolut vodka tonight.

Victory Hop Wallop

 

i've heard rat talk about hop wallop, but ever seen it in the stores....i'm not too keen on extremely hoppy beers, but i'd like to give that a try


me....i will probably have a scotch on the rocks, but then again i may get a beer or two...who knows
